Kara logged out of the net, drawing her attention from internal to external once more. She was spending less time hiding that introspection. Wasn't much point really, considering she was on fairly permanent rescue duty. Those who hadn't seen her at it would surely hear about it. What was done was done, and while she felt a twinge of fear as to what might be coming, she didn't regret the decision. People had needed her.
People like Matt. The blind man who, for some reason, had been found in the lobby looking, for all intents and purposes, as if he'd not only intended to be there but had been trying to do something about the situation. That brought up a lot of questions that Kara was more than interested in having answered. Making her way up to his room, she didn't knock. She merely placed her hand against the magnetic lock and triggered it. Stepping in, she heard the shower running. Kara took a seat in one of the rooms small arm chairs, turned towards the bathroom door, perhaps a bit dramatic but she didn't much care, and waited.
