It was hard, being here. Robbie still wasn't sure how long he had been gone, in-between taking his tío to hell and arriving here, and the conversations he'd had with Daisy about what had happened after he left weren't enough to know for sure. He worried about Gabe every day, despite Daisy's assurances that he was alright, and he wanted to get back to LA. How he would do that, though, remained a mystery - one that he didn't like. Despite that, Robbie was trying to return to some kind of normalcy. He was looking for a job in the area, refusing to sit around and do nothing. He'd gone to several auto repair shops, since that was what he knew, and was waiting to hear something from any of them. If Robbie got a job, he and Daisy would continue to work on finding a way home when he wasn't working. But right now, normalcy meant breakfast. The room was full, mostly tourists around from before the zombies, but he didn't pay attention to them. He put what he wanted from the buffet on a tray and headed for a free table. Trying not to drop his tray while moving past the tourists, he bumped into someone; not enough to make them drop anything, thankfully. "Sorry about that," he said. |
