It was a reasonable assumption, considering where he'd been put in relation to her room. Whomever or whatever was responsible for all of them being there, it didn't seem to be too concerned about where it put people when they first arrived. Or perhaps it was just a random algorithm. "I'm two floors down," he remarked, in an off-handed way. But it was good for them to know where the other was, especially in a bad situation. Robbie didn't know anyone else here, and he certainly didn't trust anyone other than Daisy. His brows knitted together, confused as to why Daisy would be stuck in the room after she first arrived. Was that a thing too? Did the hotel lock people in without warning? "Why? Did you do something to piss this place off, chica?" He felt relieved to know that Gabe was alright, even if he had only her words for reassurance, but it made him want to get back to Los Angeles more. He wasn't sure if he liked the way she worded her next sentence, though, and he looked at her. "What other things?" He knew SHIELD dealt with a bunch of strange shit; he'd worked with them to kill his tío. But Robbie was concerned about Gabe, mostly. "Like who?" he asked, curious whom she meant. He only knew Daisy and the people he'd met through her at SHIELD, so the people she was referring to could have been literally anyone. But the way she spoke implied that no one that they both knew was there. "No one from SHIELD is here, then?" |
