Kara had come to a stop outside her door, somewhat frustrated with herself. In her efforts to leave and help the group...efforts that might have proved foolish if anyone had realized just how much damage she should have been taking...she had forgotten to take a room key. Now she was locked out, staring at her door helplessly. She glanced left and right down the hall, just as the elevator dinged. She'd have to hurry, someone was coming.
Pressing her palm against the magnetic lock, she closed her eyes and concentrated. It took a moment. Too long a moment, she hoped however was coming just assumed she had her key in her hand. Finally, the lights flicked green and the lock disengaged. Kara glanced sideways to see who was coming, offering him a friendly smile. "Hello!" Too cheerful. "I was having some lock trouble but it seems to be better now."
