Robb still looked down. A moment before his eyes had taken in the sight of the arrows and the blood. There had been so much blood and then a sword. Now that was gone. His clothes showed no sign of the wounds but he had felt them. Felt the blood within rising up his throat. Now though, there was nothing but the strange room around him. The room was unlike one he had ever seen, but clearly, a bedroom meant for a prestigious occupant. Even stranger objects littered every flat surface. The room was also empty, save for Greywind. Where had everyone gone? Where had everything gone?
While mind raced and tried to process the sudden changes, Greywind looked at him, so much calmer than the last time Robb had seen the direwolf. Resigned to the room the direwolf had laid down with behavior Robb had seen before in restraining spaces. But the direwolf had not been in the hall with him. He hadn’t realized the warning in the direwolf’s aggression. So what had happened to those in the hall with him, those that had died with him?
There were no answers to be had within the room. Robb did not have a good grasp of time but he had moved from one side of the room to another many times. A good amount of time must have passed while he studied his own whole clothes and the room itself, more time than he should have allowed. There was nothing important here clearly except the privacy. Determined he strode towards the door, at the change in direction Greywind rose to follow after him. The door opened on a corridor, much like the room. Greywind moved forward without trepidation and Robb followed closely after the direwolf, taking a few quick steps to walk abreast to his direwolf.
