The tangibility of Cassian is comforting, the grip she has on him is like a life line and when his hand reciprocates it shifts into to place the reality that they're alive. Perhaps not on that beach on Scarif, but here they are and that's all Jyn can focus on right now.
The familiar angles of Cassian's boyish face and the trust they built between each other remains intact and whatever comes after this might be easier to deal with. Almost.
Jyn's still trying to come to terms with what Cassian said, that she's already been here. She tries to force into existence memories that do not exist for her, furrowing her brow and looking down at the floor as if it might jog some hidden memory. She's certain though that the only place she's been between this moment here with Cassian and the one on Scarif is the room she awoke in. When he speaks she looks up, trying to focus on his words.
"Three weeks?" She repeats, more to herself than a question. Jyn's trying to find the familiar in her surroundings again, but nothing is coming to her and it's off putting. She doesn't like the idea of another version of herself existing here without any previous memory of it. When Cassian removes his hand and pulls a small, block like device from his pocket she looks down at it. The technology is foreign and almost primitive looking, she touches it gently but doesn't investigate further.
Whatever is on this device she doesn't want to see it yet or at all if she can help it. Jyn shakes her head before looking up at Cassian again. "Well I'm here now," she says after a few moments. "And whatever has happened is in the past," she exhales, looking away for a moment as the thought continues to bother her until she shakes it off once more. "What can you tell me about this place?"
