No one ever knocked on Meg's door. Since she'd been there she hadn't had one visitor and that was no surprise, nor was it any skin off her back really. The Winchesters weren't likely to come knocking and if Cas wanted to see her...well..up until a couple of days ago, she'd have thought he would just appear. But now...maybe it was him knocking. What annoyance she'd felt faded immediately, replaced with a slight twinging sadness she didn't want to deal with. It wasn't right, what had happened to him. And she was powerless to do anything about it.
Lowering her hammer to the ground, she moved to open the door, but it wasn't Cas on the other side.
"You're a little scruffy looking for a Jehovah's witness, aren't you?" she sneered at the stranger.
