Loki didn't have to wait long. Thor appeared a lot more cheerful then he felt, the new memories weighing on him, but he was still eager to fill his stomach with food. And it so happened that the free buffet had excellent food, which both he and Skaði could eat - even if they vyed for the best options often. Thor had risen uncharacteristically early, but he knew how important it was to share these new memories with Loki - even if his brother did not have them himself. Perhaps Loki would, in time, but Thor refused to say nothing and sit and wait for something that may not happen at all. This place was fickle, and it could not be trusted, or reasoned with - nor could it be fought and defeated. An awkward dilemma for the God of Thunder. "Loki!" Thor called, his deep and strong voice echoing across the space that separated them. He knew that his current appearance was a far cry from what Loki knew, but he chose not to call attention to it. "Why do you stand outside, brother?" Thor asked, a grin brightening his face. "The food is free and laid out for us. We must just help ourselves." Thor could hear Skaði's soft laughs under her breath, her tail swishing back and forth teasingly, as they walked past Loki and headed straight for the array of food. Thor took three trays, one for each of them, and placed them on the counter in front of the food. "Pick whatever you would like, brother," Thor explained, assuming that Loki had followed them inside. He could see Skaði eyeing her favourite choices already. "Then we shall find a table and talk." |
