There had been worse Halloween’s. There had been a few costumes in the burlesque show but not as many as he feared. Certainly none of those clowns that people had spotted around. The show had even been funny, because from the very beginning they were willing to poke fun at the show itself. You have to be willing to laugh at yourself when you are joking about what amounts to necrophilia. Best part of the night, Dean had caught himself one of the girls which meant he got to come home to a nice private space with Riley for the rest of the night.
“Riley?” At first glance their suite was empty, surely she wasn’t still down at the costume party. Maybe she was. He had spent his night looking at mostly naked women. She seemed to understand when he left how this was a holiday he always spent with his brother on edge for trouble. Sam hadn’t felt right about her going down to the costume party alone though. Next year things would have to be different if she wasn’t still mad at him for this year.
He checked their bedroom. Nothing, but there was finally some sound from the bathroom. He can tell her about how good the night had been for Dean and make this whole thing up to her. “Hey, how was the party?” He words sort of faded away as the green fin came into view. “What happened at the party?”
