Ballroom - 8:00pm - Ella and Rebekah
Joy at being there, in all her glory, in a dress fit for a queen, swelled up inside Ella and she very nearly gave a little twirl. She was only brought up short by the voice of a woman appearing suddenly at her side. She hoped she hadn't bumped into her with her skirt.
"Um...No...I...Well I rather thought just princess was enough for an evening." Ella glanced down at her fine gown, smoothing the blue fabric with her hands, feeling suddenly foolish for reasons she could not put her finger on. The woman who had spoken looked glamorous and lovely in a way that Ella was certain would have looked out of place on her. But perhaps the opposite was true. She did stand out in her finery. Maybe she should have chosen something less ostentatious. The happy swell in her chest deflated ever so slightly.
"Your costume is so lovely," she tried, giving the woman a wide smile.
