I know you feel like the walls are closing in on you.

It wasn't that Daisy didn't like Robbie. It was pretty much the exact opposite of that. She did like him. She probably had for awhile, which made her feel guilty. It hadn't been that long ago that Lincoln had died. And she felt like she was kind of disrespecting him or betraying him. That was why she had put this off so long in the first place. That had been the wrong thing to do, and she knew that. She was just glad Robbie was being so cool about it. But he shouldn't have had to be.

Now it was finally time to get everything out in the open. She'd hoped to be able to talk to someone about it first, but the best thing was to talk to him. Things had been pretty weird with them ever since it happened. And she knew that was because she was basically avoiding the issue. And that could not go on anymore. They'd talk about it, and go from there. They were both mature adults, there was no reason to keep putting it off.

She found the garage easily enough. It was especially easy with Lucy parked there. That car was unmistakable. And she looked good too. They'd taken good care of the car while Robbie had been gone. She leaned against the car to wait for him. She was still just a few minutes early.

The moment that she showed up, Robbie knew. It was impossible not to, with the other guys talking about the chica by his car - asking him who she was, if she was his or available. He stuffed his mechanic uniform into the cupboard, zipping up his leather jacket and picking up his keys - flicking them into the palm of his hand out of habit. "She's a friend," he replied, heading toward the door and opening it. "I'm out. See you on Wednesday."

Their loud voices followed him, but the brief bang of the shop's door muffled most of it while he walked over to Lucy - and Daisy, leaning back against the side. "You found it," he remarked, realising that he hadn't seen her in person for a few weeks. Not since that party the lady with the ship had thrown.

He'd missed her, but figured that she'd wanted space - she'd been the one that chose to leave that morning, after all. He knew that he wouldn't have, if it had been her room. He wasn't good at talking about his feelings, but he knew how he felt about her. He just wasn't sure how she felt about him, even after that amazing night, but he'd find out. It was why she was there.

"You want to drive or walk?" he asked.

"I found it." She confirmed with a grin. His car was kind of hard to miss, even at a garage like this one. Thankfully she hadn't been paying any attention to whatever things his coworkers might have said about her or anything else for that matter. She was here for Robbie and only Robbie. They had spoken several times over the network, but she hadn't actually seen him in awhile. She could have blamed everything that had been going on, but that wasn't it.

Daisy had been taking her time, trying to sort through her feelings. It wasn't an easy thing. She really did like Robbie, and she probably had for some time. After all, she'd basically risked her life to bring him back when the Rider took over. She didn't think he'd hurt her, but it wasn't exactly a guarantee. She had just known that she was the only one who could have done it. So she did.

And then they'd had a spectacular night together, where not much sleeping actually occurred. And in the morning she'd taken off, overcome by guilt and a mix of emotions. Standing here with him now, it almost felt like that was years ago instead of just months. That was how much she must have actually missed him.

"Your choice." She smirked. "But if we go for a drive, can I drive?" That she liked his car was no secret. And it'd be nice to drive when they weren't in any kind of trouble. She wanted to hug him, but she refrained for now. It really was good to see him.
