Mon-El had arrived, Kara had her family. He was glad for her, but it left him feeling things that were to be desired for himself. He felt emptiness. Non emotion. Things he probably should have felt emotional about, there was nothingness. It didn't feel right, he felt off. Like someone had dimmed a once bright spark he felt for life itself, and it was uncomfortable. His own family was back in Central City and it was safe under the watchful eye of Kid Flash, but where was he? Las Vegas, the city of sin. The city that never slept, and he should be having fun but he wasn't.
He passed off the feeling as a 'bad day' but honestly since he'd arrived he'd felt that nothingness, that numb feeling. Like something inside wasn't working properly. The week had gone on in a blur, he hadn't even realized how much time passed if he was entirely honest. He pretended. He wore a cheerful enough face as not to upset those around him, but inside he was just moving on auto pilot. And moving slow. His powers worked, but he hadn't used them since he'd arrived. His suit was with him too, but he didn't wear it. He felt like a dazed robot 90% of the time. The rest were negative feelings he didn't want to feel or share.
He tried to walk it off, heading out of his room and down into the lobby finally. A hand running along the staircase as if he needed it's solid foundation to keep him from collapsing. He wasn't happy or unhappy. He just existed when he really had no right to. Barry ran a hand over some of the objects on a table, they felt real enough. Kara was there, and so was her family, but it wasn't home.
He wanted to feel like himself again he just wasn't sure how. He still felt like he was in limbo. Walking around in a daze he couldn't shake.
