He sounded like he thought she was lying, which was a bit amusing to Daisy. She truly hadn't meant to wander this far, but she was just lost in her thoughts. She definitely hadn't intended to seek Bucky out. Up until now, she didn't even know he wasn't at the hotel still. So for him not to believe her made him seem paranoid which piqued Daisy's interest. And maybe it was just nice to focus on something other than herself and her...feelings. "That's a pretty precise observation." She commented. At least she'd be able to say she got a good work out in today. But she was a little shock to learn she'd wandered that far lost in her own head. That could have been potentially dangerous, and Daisy would need to take care to be more aware of her surroundings. Maybe that was the point Bucky was trying to make. "I can't just be concerned?" Daisy asked, shaking her head. "When people up and disappear, there's usually a reason behind it. They don't just do it because they feel like it." She pointed out. "Look, you don't have to tell me anything you don't want to, just...as long as you're okay." She didn't know Bucky well, but she still felt connected to him somehow. Or maybe she was telling herself that so she could stop thinking about Robbie for a minute or so. |
