"Hey." Alex greeted Frank with a bit of a smile when he approached her. She was making a lot of friends here, some of them male which wasn't exactly normal for her, and Frank was among them. She was still dealing with being a vampire, she thought she would be for a long time. But if anything she was much more capable of handling just about any threat better than she ever could when she'd been human. Not that Frank was a threat, he was a concerned friend. "I think I'm doing okay." Alex answered. "This is kind of my first time since...well you know that I've been around so many people." And she hadn't ripped anyone throat out, so that was a good thing. She'd been so concerned about control, because of her past addictions. She still wasn't sure she made the right choice by turning. But she was dealing with the decisions she had made. And it helped to know she was not alone. Elijah had very much welcomed her into the family, and that was a really great feeling for her. Nikita and the others weren't here, and Alex needed support. She had grown much closer to Elijah than she'd anticipated. And maybe in time she would feel that way towards more of the Mikaelsons. "How are you?" She asked, looking over at Frank. "Not much of the swim party type, I see." She said a bit teasingly as she looked at his attire. It was nice to have people here who cared about her, but also a bit frightening in a way. She'd lost so many people in the past, and she didn't want anything to happen to the family or friends she'd found now. |
