There was no mortal that Lucifer respected or admired more than he did the Detective. He knew that he had done a lot of shady things to her lately but they all for good reasons, or at least reasons that he thought were good. In all of his years, Lucifer had never developed feelings for a human and just when he was starting to lower his guard, he finds out that he was being manipulated by his father. He didn't mean to push Chloe away, it was the last thing that he wanted to do but he needed to put space between at the time.
But now he was ready to come clean. He straightened his suit jacket when the Detective refused to sit. He didn't blame her for wanting to keep her guard up. What he wouldn't do for a drink right now.
"Right." How do you tell someone that you are the Devil, himself. Well, he had been doing that all of the time but now he was going to prove it. "You deserve the truth, Detective, and I'm going to tell you everything and I wouldn't blame you if you did not believe me but you know I am many things, but a liar I am not."
Lucifer looked at Chloe. "I am Lucifer Morningstar. Mazikeen is my very loyal right hand demon who followed me to Earth when I left Hell. Amenadiel is my brother and he came to Earth under our Father's orders. My mother escaped Hell and took the form of a mortal, Charlotte Richards, in an attempt to get us all to return to the Heavens but she's now moved on to bigger and better things."
Lucifer knew he wasn't making much sense. "I know you likely think I have gone completely mad, but I can show you proof that I am who I say I am."
