Chloe was nervous about all of this. For one thing, she didn't like waking up in a bed that was not her own. She didn't like being away from Trixie. And from what she could tell, no one had a clue about what was going on. Or how to get everyone back home. Chloe was a detective, solving things like this was her job.
And then there was Lucifer. Chloe honestly did not know what to make of that whole situation. It seemed like things were going well for them, and then she almost died and he disappeared entirely. That hurt more than Chloe was willing to admit to anyone, even herself.
And now Lucifer was here and he was going to tell her whatever he was going to tell her at home that he'd blown her off for. She was not impressed and highly skeptical but since he said something had happened, she'd give him a chance. Lucifer was many things but a liar was not one of them. So she'd see what he had to say.
When he arrived, she wordlessly opened the door and let him in. She wanted it known that she was not very happy.
