Klaus almost wished he hadn't compelled Alex to be complacent when he came to feed again. He always enjoyed a good struggle but it was better this way. It'd draw less attention if Alex was willing to comply with him.
Klaus was done with the small talk. He was hungry and the blood coursing through Alex's veins was taunting him. He was quick as he grabbed Alex and moved them into the shadows of the building. Standing behind her, he made sure he had a firm grip on her shoulders before he leaned in and bit down on her neck. He never took too much from her. It wasn't his intention to kill or hurt her but he took enough until he was satisfied. When he was finished, he bit into his own wrist and offered it to Alex.
