His concern might be misplaced but he still felt as though Grey Wind did not get enough space in the hotel. Compared to Winterfell the hallways were larger and there were far more rooms. There were open areas that Winterfell could not compete with. At Winterfell, though Grey Wind had the Godswood to roam free from all concerns. And while his army marched Grey Wind had been able to roam without any walls for large portions of the day. That was not the case here.
Dean still advised him to keep the direwolf indoors as much as possible but he was reluctant to go anywhere without the direwolf. Therefore, they had both stayed indoors so much he felt a sense of enclosure. They both needed fresh air and sunlight. At least a little sunlight, the days were so warm, too warm. He had found the roof of the building to be more secluded than any of the other exits. He let Grey Wind pass through the open door before he followed after. He imagined that Dorne with its fiery red sun as the central symbol of their coat of arms would feel like this place. Even as the light faded that burning heat lingered until it faded into a coldness he felt more comfortable with.
