After arriving just a couple hours ago, Julie had spent some time settling in, putting her clothes away and acquainting herself with her room. It was massive! She'd never had a room so big in her life or a bathroom to herself! That was probably one of the more exciting things about this place, mundane as that might seem to others. Even so, this place seemed more like a vacation resort than a school, but Julie wasn't complaining. She missed her family already, yes, but she could still talk to them - at least, that's what Mr. Cavanaugh had said when he'd made contact with her about coming here in the first place.
Now, though, she was heading down from her room on the third floor. She didn't have a clear destination in mind and hadn't even bothered to study the provided map. Exploring seemed like a great idea. Once on the first floor, she found herself at a door next to the library, and she pushed it open, peeking inside. Well, didn't this look like a lot of fun? She took in all the things in the room as she moved into it. There was plenty of light streaming in from the windows still, and she moved around, trying to decide what she should play with. A lot of the things seemed to be two or more person games, but she'd always thought it could be fun to throw darts, so she went to that. With her first few throws, it was terribly clear to her that she had terrible aim, but she kept at it anyway.
