Katelyn was only a little disappointed by not being able to go to the party. She wasn't big on social events, but the group here seemed to be small enough that it wouldn't have been too overwhelming for her, and if Jay and Olivia were there too, she was sure she would have been just fine. It was outside during the day, though, so going just wasn't an option. While she'd tried to encourage both Jay and Olivia to go to the party, she couldn't say she was disappointed that they would rather spend the time with her.
She cared about both of them quite a lot, but it wasn't something she was looking too deep at just yet. They were her best friends, and if there were moments with the both of them when she got flustered, well, it was for reasons that she just didn't understand.
The morning had been spent sleeping, though she'd set an alarm for noon to make sure she was awake when they got here. She had no idea what they would watch, but she had thought to wander out to the common room to get some snacks for them. She'd fed the night before, and while it wasn't quite as pleasing as fresh blood, it was far better than the synthetic crap she'd been given at South Peak. In short, she was ready for her friends to arrive - she'd even picked out several movies they could choose from.
