The Doctor turned as Sheppard opened the apparently only unlocked door in the area, grinning slightly despite himself. Colonel John Sheppard reminded him a little of Jack if he were completely honest. Once upon a time that might've been something he minded, rather something that stole to his conscious and that same old wrongness that seemed to flea throughout his entire body, but well a lot had happened since the Time Lord had left the other on Satellite 9 and the familiarity struck him these days a little differently. "Right, well, lead the way John." His eyes managed to steal the room one last time, taking in the cameras with still that lingering "something" of almost fascination and a darker kind of thrill that seemed to flush through him like his instincts kicking in. It had taken a huge something to draw them here after all, he just had to figure out what and, well, in the mean time try and keep these people safe however he could. Something told him that in itself was not going to be easy. He followed after, mind as always the source of his distraction, moving like a man with far too much energy but also with an air of experience in these type of typically for normal people at least stressful situations.
