Dreaming was never something Sam Flynn took much stock in. Sure, it was like a nice movie to pass the time while the body slept, but other than that, usually, he didn't look and deeper than that. Life after the Grid, after everything in his life changing at once, seemed to change everything, including his dreams.

This was a really strange one. It was fast and unsettling. He felt like he needed to run, but it was too cold. It was so cold.

And breezy.

The realization pulled him out of his restless sleep. It felt like he'd fallen asleep on the hood of a car. An unsettled feeling crept over him as he realized that everything was wrong.

Adrenaline immediately hit as his eyes shot open, but he was blinded by the extremely bright lights that hovered over him.

This was like a bad nightmare. He felt the scratchy hospital gown pull itself over his exposed skin as he sat up and shielded his eyes from the lights to get a look around.

A million possibilities raced through his mind as he took in the dingy-looking hospital room. More like an OR. Sam could feel his heartbeat reaching. This was the second time in two days that he found himself suddenly somewhere completely unknown to him. The first time was unpleasant and dark. This one was much the same, but somehow creepier and really bright.

He ran barefoot for the door. "Hello?"

This had to be a nightmare.

It had been a long day and night at Torchwood for Rose Tyler that by the time it was over, she was ready to crash. She could tell that she'd finally be able to get a good nights sleep. What she didn't expect, was to wake up someplace entirely different. There was no way that she could have been sleeping that deep to be kidnapped and moved. Yet, somehow she was.

At first Rose thought this was nothing more then a dream; it had to be. But, the way the bright light stung her eyes and the feeling of the cold table against her skin felt so real. Her next thought could only be that whoever did this, must have some advanced technology to achieve such a thing without waking the person. Then again, she could have just been heavily drugged - a thought she didn't like one bit.

Her bare feet hit the cool ground as the blonde came to it. She took time to adjust to the setting and really take in what was around her. It seemed like some medical place. As soon as she noticed the locker, she moved towards it and opened it to find her clothes and a note.

"Great," she said to herself after reading the note. "Just seems to get better and better," she sighed. This was in no way good, she didn't volunteer for any project.

Rose changed into her own clothes and took one more look around the room before she headed to the door. It seemed like she wasn't going to find anything else in this room.

As soon as her hand touched the doorknob she felt a surge of excitement. It wasn't that she was excited to be here, just she missed this sort of thing. It reminded her of her time with the Doctor, finding yourself in some unknown place and not sure what to expect.

Once outside, the door shut behind her and made a clicking sound. She quickly turned and tried to get the door open again, but it was locked. That's when she heard the sound of another door and a voice. Rose turned to see the other man, "hello," she called out to him and began to walk towards him.

	Sam's head poked out of the door. Much to his surprise, he spotted the other woman. He couldn't help keep the awkward smile from his face. First of all, she was pretty. Second, he was only covered by a thin, scratchy gown. "Hi." He kept his body safely tucked behind the door. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Dean was not a stranger to drinking. Blacking out, waking up in strange places....it happens. He also wasn't a stranger to being drugged, kidnapped, or knocked out. Still if he said he wasn't more than a little surprised about waking up in a paper dress, he'd be lying. In fact, the mixture of bright lights and cold metal on his ass almost caused him to fall off the gurney he found himself on.

After managing to get to his feet he took in his surroundings, which led him to believe he'd somehow ended up on the set of SAW 12. Taking in the presence of the old medical equipment he quickly lifted up the flimsy hospital gown to inspect himself. Nope, kidneys still there...gotta be thankful for the little things. Last thing he remember Sam and him were recovering from a nasty run in with a vamp, now he was in Silent Hill. And where the hell was Sam?

He perked up hearing somebody in the hallway and quickly ran for the door without even bothering to check the locker. If there were other people here who might have answers, or were as lost as he was, they were first priority. "Hello? Anybody here?" he poked his head out of the room, confident that his pretty little dress covered up his shame well enough as long as he didn't turn around or do jumping jacks.

Soon as Rose got a good look at the guy in front of her, she noticed he was still in his dressing gown. That probably meant that he had no clue what was going on either. "Hey," she said in a softer voice this time. "Just woke up in one of those rooms." She stopped once she got close to him, but not too close to make him feel uncomfortable.

Before she had time to say anything else, she heard the voice of someone else and quickly turned to see where it was coming from. She noticed that a guy was poking his head out the door. "Don't close that," she shouted back towards him and started to head over to him. "Once you close it, the door locks."

Unless he'd forgotten a big chunk of last night, this was not like the Grid. There was no terminal or any digitizing laser that he remembered besides the one he'd left behind at the arcade. He tried to clear the fog, but it wasn't really working.

As for this girl, and now this other guy, they only added to the sinking feeling that this was something far more human: they'd all been kidnapped.

Seeing as how the pretty hot blonde had her clothes, Sam decided to take a stab in the dark and check for his really quick in the locker by the door. Sure enough, his shirt, underwear, pants, boots, and even his jacket were in there with a strange dot-matrix printed note on top. He hustled to put them on.

Dean looked the young blonde lady up and down, kinda wishing she had a paper dress too. It took him a minute for the woman's words to sink in. "Uh...ok, hang on," he manages to keep his foot in the door jam and grab the gurney, sliding it so it kept the door from closing all the way. He still didn't know what the hell was going on around here but he didn't want any room off limits, if nothing else they could hid in here if need be.

Taking a better look around the room he immediately noticed the camera in the corner and gave it a wave. Shit, cameras were never a good sign. At long last he noticed the locker in the corner and cautiously opened it, relieved when all he saw was a pile of clothes. Go to hell paper gown.

On further inspection he realized this wasn't just a pile of clothes, this was a pile of his clothes. Well...that wasn't creepy. He yanked on a pair of boxers and his worn blue jeans, along with some old socks and his tan brown boots. It wasn't until he slipped on his black tshirt and gray blue over shirt that he realized these were the same clothes he was wearing yesterday. What in the hell?! He let out a breathe he didn't know he was holding once his father's brown leather jacket was back on him where it belonged.

He searched his pockets for anything he should have. Wallet, keys, a knife, a gun? Whatever took him cleaned him out good, but he did triumphantly pull his amulet out of his back pocket. After giving it a quick peck he slipped it back on his neck.

Looking back in the locker he noticed an envelope with a letter inside. He looked it over a few times then then slipped it into his pocket. Monitoring and testing? Fuck that. He was finding Sam and getting them and these people out of here as soon as possible.

He examined the locker for any other hidden compartments, but came up with nothing. Finally he returned to the hallway, making sure the door stayed propped open behind him. "So...I'm guessing nobody knows what the hell's going on?"

Rose gave the two men some time to find their clothes and put them on. While she was waiting, she took a look around the hallway they were in. It was just a bunch of rooms with numbers and all of them were locked besides the two that the guys were in at the moment. She knocked on a few of the doors, just to see if anyone else was here, but it didn't seem so.

"Not a clue," Rose confirmed. "Went to bed, woke up here. Don't get how though," she shrugged. "Whoever took us is good, really good. Don't remember a thing." That was a thought that she didn't like much.

The next question she was going to ask would be a bit more bold, something that might make them think she was crazy, but she didn't care. "You two from Earth, yeah? What year?"

The letter left him wondering what the hell he'd gotten swept up into. Today was supposed to be a big day. Today was going to be the world's largest corporate takeover of ENCOM and he was going to start to clean up his father's company. Instead, he was trapped in this creepy scientific facility that, despite what the letter said, he did not volunteer to enter into.

The woman's question was an odd one. He was expecting something about names, not whether or not they were aliens. "Uh, yeah, Earth. 2010. Name's Sam." He emerged from his little room, fully dressed now, and held the door with his foot. He wasn't about to forget something else important in there if there was something to be had.

Dean couldn't be bothered to hold in his laughter when he heard the chick's question. Well, he guessed she got points for originality. The last thing he needed in a stressful situation like this was a nut job. He was about to open his mouth to give her an answer when the other dude spoke. Ok...maybe he was dealing with two nut jobs.

"What the hell are you talking about?" he looked back and forth between the two trying to figure out what exactly was going on. "I mean, yeah it's Earth but it's 2007." He figured, though he'd never run across it, this guy may have experience some time travel....or he was just bat shit. The only thing he did know for sure was that there was no way it was 2010. Hellhounds were coming for him in a few months, if it was 2010 he wouldn't be here, time travel or no the demons would have come for him.

"Right, so they can take people from different times." That could be both good and bad, mostly bad when it came to people not believing you. At least they were both from Earth, but having an alien around might be nice, they'd believe her and not think she was crazy or something.

"Had to have had some sort of time travel device to get us all here. Who even knows what time this might be or where here even is." That wasn't a pleasant thought at all. "What does Earth look like for you guys? Mean, was it attacked by cybermen a few years ago? Have zeppelins in the sky over London?" She highly doubted that she left the other universe because that just wasn't possible anymore.

While the other two were talking, Sam grabbed the nearest piece of antiquated hospital equipment and shoved it in the doorway.

He was on his way to check the non-numbered door that looked like it was probably an exit when the girl asked one of the strangest questions he'd ever heard. "Uh..." While Sam was all for humoring hot ladies, this one seemed a bit out of her mind. "Look, I don't know what kind of crazy shit's going on, but I suggest we don't hang around here and wait for something stranger to happen."

Just stares at the English chick in awe of what could be the weirdest question he had ever been asked. "I....have the experiments started already?" Looks over to the other guy as if he had some sort of explanation "think they've been fucking with her brain?" Why else would somebody ask if what sounded like an off-brand Transformer was attacking?

Still, the other guy (what the hell was it? Sam, ok that'd be easy to remember) seemed to be looking for a way out so he'd let the whole 2010 thing slide for now. He immediately starts trying to open every door, but sadly finds all of the numbered ones locked as he makes his way down to where Sam is.

"Hey, random question here....though maybe not after Blondie's. Has anybody seen a crazy tall guy? Like 6'5''? Kinda emo hair?" Dean didn't know whether he hoped Sam was here so he they could look out for each other, or on the outside so somebody was looking for him.

So Rose did manage to cross back over to her home universe, or at least another one. That made this whole thing even stranger and a bit more scary. Who could have that type of power? This was beyond just kidnapping and drugging her. For now, it was probably best to keep all that information from the two of them, she could tell by the looks they gave her and what they said that they thought she was insane or something. "Nevermind what I said, not important right now." She shook her head.

"Just woke up in there like the two of you, first people I've seen. You two did just wake up as well, yeah?"

"Hey, man, I just got here," Sam said as he opened the door. The corridor beyond seemed to lead to a larger room. Whatever the hell this place was, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in an age.

In response to the girl he nodded. "Yeah, I think I went to bed and woke up here. Definitely wasn't the plan..." Was Alan waiting for him? Did they all think he'd just blown them off? He hoped whatever this shit was could be straightened out quick so he could get back to the important life changing events going on.

"Yeah, fell asleep in my motel room and woke up in fucking Phantasmagoria here," he jogs over to where Sam is, wincing at the pains in his legs from his last fight. Still, you go up against a couple of vamps and all you have to complain about is sore muscles you can call it a success.

"Well let's just find a way out of here cause I got shit I need to get back to." He takes a look down the old, dirty, spooky corridor. Well...that wasn't ominous. Still if there were ghosts around here he at least had his belt complete with iron belt buckle he got special, so they weren't totally screwed. "We should probably stick together, make sure we all get out of here okay." He turned back to the other two and flashed them a smile, "I'm Dean by the way," turns back to face the corridor, "let's go". He started forward, hoping they would follow.

	Rose nodded her head to agree on sticking together. Who knew what was out there or what could have taken them. "Rose," she said with a smile then started to follow after Dean.
