Sam nodded at John’s order to check out the hall and moved himself around the other two men to cross the room. He paused in his walking as he took in the foosball and pool tables. Whoever put us there meant for us to stay around a while if they’re gonna give us something to entertain ourselves with, he thought to himself. Looking up at the ‘Welcome’ sign that was hanging from a catwalk above them, Sam got a nasty feeling in his gut. That sign looked old, really old. He needed to get these people out of here and the faster he got that done, the better.

He crossed the room slowly, his back to the wall his senses on high alert. There were too many doors to this room than he liked. Looking over the small chairs and tables as he tried one of the doors on the right which was labeled ‘SUPPLIES INTAKE & STORAGE’ and found it locked. He looked back over to John and shook his head as he called out to him “Locked.”

John drifted across the open space, acknowledging Sam's observation and keeping an eye on George and the Doctor... and seriously, he needed to get a name out of that guy, because he felt vaguely ridiculous calling him 'The Doctor.'

Everything in the large room had an air of decrepitness, down to the very walls. Even the air smelled old. He was taking it all in when a bright spot on the wall caught his attention. It was a bulletin board, and as he drew closer he saw it had several pieces of paper tacked to it and a cheerful border, like you might find in an elementary school. There was a meal schedule, locker assignments -all their names listed, plus a few others, and minus George- office hours, and a few other notices.

"That is seriously disturbing," he murmured. Lockers and a schedule implied an extended stay and John was absolutely not on board with that idea. He turned back to the room at large. "Hey, anyone up for a game of pool? I've always liked pool, played with big, potentially dangerous sticks."

Dean led his group across the ass-random catwalk that in no way made his hands sweaty and onto the staircase leading downstairs. He had paused briefly on the stairs, hearing the sounds of other people coming from the room below them.

He almost stopped his group before he heard one particular voice, a voice he wasn't sure if he was happy or sad about hearing in this place. Sam! He was here, so they could stick together. Of coarse that meant Sam couldn't come save him so that made him slightly more screwed than he already assumed he was.

Without stopping to make sure his charges were still following him, he ran downstairs into the common room. "Sammy!" He grinned spotting the giant that was his brother.

Walking to where John was standing, he tilted his head at the bulletin board. Yeah, that board was in no way omnious... Wait a second... he scanned quickly over the names. "Dean?" he asked himself quietly as he spotted his brother's name listed on the board, his eyes squinting in curiosity.

He paused and listened as he could have sworn he heard footsteps coming from the floor above them. Sam turned sharply as the footsteps he heard were suddenly coming from the stairway. "Dean!" he exclaimed as he saw his brother's smiling face.

John was just bending to see if there were any cues stashed under the table when he heard steps on the staircase.

"George, Doctor," he hissed, "get back." He'd just started to move toward the wall adjoining the staircase, ready to get the jump on whoever it was, but then Sam and the guy, Dean, were greeting each other like they were best friends. John relaxed slightly and looked over at the the Doctor and George with a smirk.

"I just love reunions, don't you?"

Neal was more than happy to give this whole affair some space, so John didn't have to tell him twice to stay back.

The other collective looked just as confused and somewhat normal as the one he woke up with. He watched the happy reunion from a few paces behind all of the taller abductees. Family, friends, or friends, he wondered to himself.

The creepy hallway lead to a creepy bunch of catwalks which lead to a creepy staircase, by which point Sam had decided that he was going to force a way out of here if he had to dig his way through the floor and out. He'd been some nasty places in his life, but this was not only decrepit, it was eerie as hell.

The sudden shouting caught him off guard. Especially the fact that Dean called out 'Sammy', one of the worst nicknames of all time. Thankfully it wasn't for him.

More signs of life brought him a bit of hope. At least they were sociable. At least they weren't all about to get dragged off to play as gladiators against each other. Or were they? Shit. He needed out of here. Now.

The Time Lord's eyes cast across the new room, flipping out his glasses as he studied the decrepit walls and the scattered old pool tables. That was...interesting, to say the least, the entire layout of the place teetering on more and more on the ominous side. His mind was still running faster than he could pause, moving and peering over the colonel's shoulder at the list of names...this was looking more and more like an experiment of some kind, which, well, wasn't typically the best of things.

"Well, 'least we have the names of everyone here...mind you minus George." He glanced up, distracted, a slight frown on his face as another group of people came in their direction, noting that Sam seemed very familiar with at least one of them and finding a slight grin on his face at John's words despite the situation.

During the time it took for him to quickly cross the room to his brother, Dean managed to take in his surroundings. Looked like Sam had picked up his own little band of lost ducklings...ooo and one of them had found a pool table. Sweet, at least now he'd have a distraction while they tried to figure out how to get out of here.

He smiled and slapped his brother on the back, "so I guess my hopes for a daring rescue mission just went to shit. Any idea what put us here?" Looks around noticing the cameras, "besides some weird scientist who has a fetish for kidnapping people and watching them play foosball."

Looks over his brother and noticed the new accessory, "and what's with the cast? You spazz out and fall off the gurney?"

Watching his brother draw near made his shoulders visibly relaxed. He smiled a bit as he caught sight of the other people following Dean and thought to himself ‘Dean did always take charge of a situation.’ Even though, like Dean, his idea of a rescue mission was screwed because his single member rescue party was here, he was relieved to see his big brother. He followed Dean’s gaze to the check out the cameras in the room.

The taller brother was gonna answer the first question but his brother just kept on talking. It was a thing he did some times… and most of the time it got on Sam’s nerve. But right now, he didn’t mind. The second question made him tilt his head and frown slightly in confusion. “Dude, it’s been broken for a while… You remember?” Maybe Dean was the one that fell off the gurney and bumped his head on the way down… “Angela Mason? The zombie in Illinois?”

John took stock of the new people as they followed Dean into the room. He was half paying attention the the conversation between Dean and Sam and had to chuckle at the crack about kinky scientists. He'd spent too long with the Atlantis crew; he'd been shocked to find out just how perverted scientists could be.

Looking back across the assembled group, he wondered what, if anything, they had in common and why they'd been brought here, not to mention how and by who. His bad feeling was turning more into a certainty: they were in trouble.

Then Sam's voice caught his attention.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," he said, turning back to Sam. "Did you just say zombie in Illinois?"

As the meeting and the greeting happened, Neal took a moment to examine his surroundings. As subtly as possible, he read over the list of names and quickly noted his real name on the list. He made a point to be surprised, but not conspicuously so. No surprise and people would suspect him of lying. Too much and people would know he was over acting.

"Guess I wasn't invited to the party," he noted softly as he turned his attention to the decrepit pool table and he ran his palm over the polished number 6.

Four corners, center, upper, lower... He took a moment to take in the many cameras which all pointed to the action. They barely left any blind spots and the ones they did leave were easily filled by a subtle swivel.

It unsettled him somewhat that he couldn't pin down a manufacturer for the security system and couldn't draw a proper comparison to another setup in his mental catalog. This lead to thoughts of other monitoring system components that could be present that they would have no way of detecting from the inside.

Zombies? These guys were all crazy. It wasn't the craziest thing Sam had heard of, and definitely not the strangest one that people thought were real. He was, after all, tangentially associated with the Flynn Lives guys.

Crazy talk aside, he wanted to get out of here and fast. Unfortunately, his skill set was limited to computers, things with engines, jumping from high places, and Capoeria. None of which was particularly useful at the moment unless someone got violent.

Instead, he was going to see what they were facing down. He wandered over to the doors labeled Supply Room and listened to see if there was anyone or anything on the other side for a moment before pushing it open.

Inside was a dusty counter and some equally dusty shelves. It reminded him of some of the old warehouses by the docks, but without the smell of rust and harbor water.

Rose followed behind the two men for most of the way, taking her time to look over things, but nothing was really jumping out just yet. That was until she heard the other voices and caught up to see Dean acting familiar with one of the others. As Rose grew closer, she also saw a familiar face and nearly stopped dead in her tracks.

It couldn't be the Doctor..could it? It had to be the human Doctor, but she could just feel it, deep down that it wasn't. Besides that, he was dressed like the Doctor, John hadn't dressed like that for quite some time now.

Rose walked towards him, her face almost blank, "Doctor?" She said in a rather confused tone.

The Doctor examined the whole room, still studying the cameras and letting his mind take off with what he gather from the place. He glanced at the mention of zombies, “Ah, hold on. Sorry. But, did you say….zombies?” Rather than sounding skeptical or sounding as if the two needed mental help the trench coat wearing man genuinely sounded as if he wanted the real answer to the question; genuinely interested in it. Already he was connecting some of the pieces, wondering if in fact there was something more behind this, if there was perhaps other realities or situations that drew them here before his eyes traveled away at a voice, a voice that made his insides go still and his mind real into silence; the only thing in this place or maybe even the entirety of the universe that could stop him in his tracks.

Once upon a time he may have been relieved; once upon a time he would have rushed to the girl, grins and disbelief but such energy behind those eyes that sometimes lingered in guilt and a haunting that no matter the person he just refused to share. Running and running, always unto the very ends of the universe, never stopping, never pausing to linger on it himself. But now? Now was so different. As it stood so much had changed and so much had been done, so much he couldn’t focus on even as it ran against his thoughts and against all he was. He’d done the only thing he ever could, he ran from his fate, ran from everything. The Doctor had traveled alone for ages now, ages upon ages and left to the silence had made him a harder man, a darker man. A someone that eventually became consumed with power and driven almost mad, sentenced to his own death. When his gaze fell on Rose he felt as if the rest of the world, for a second were an echo…the voices meaningless and something painful settled, weighted, a glimpse of what he never usually showed behind the restless energy and those easy grins but for the moment it came across fairly clearly in the mingled shock.

“….Rose.”

His eyes widened a little hearing his brothers words. Not because he had just referenced something that happened over a year, but because he had just mentioned zombies in the middle of a crowded freakin room and shock...people had taken notice. Dean looked around at the people who looked up and flashed a smile, "he meant crackhead, we got in a fight. You know crackheads, they're like zombies...for crack."

He glared at his brother for being an idiot. True, if they were stuck in here for awhile chances are what they did for a living would probably end up being brought up but these people had enough to deal with. "And what the hell are you talking about? The Angela Mason thing was like a year ago, you hit your head Sammy?"

Dean walked passed his brother to the bulletin board a few other people had been interested. He saw a sheet of locker assignments and recognized the names from his group. "So what are we thinking guys? Roll call?" If they were stuck together they might as well know what to call each other.

He turned around hearing Rose enter the room and couldn't help the small smile that crept onto his face seeing her and that guy see each other. That was sweet, if you're gonna be trapped it might as well be with people you like.

The moment he felt the words slip from his lips, he instantly regretted it. He closed his eyes tight and gritted his teeth as he listened to the small chorus of questions regarding his flub up. Sam turned to smile awkwardly at the rest of the group, letting his brother cover up his mistake that he knew he was gonna get a lecture or something on it later.

Annoyed that Dean basically dismissed his explanation for his broken arm, Sam frowned and decided to let it go for now. They had more pressing matters, like how the hell they were gonna get out of this place in one piece. He watched the shorter dirty blonde man open a door labeled SUPPLY ROOM and decided to check out the door next to it. Pushing the door open slowly, his eyes scanned over the room noting the ever present cameras.

Sam stepped into the room, his curiosity taking over. It looked like some sort of Cafeteria. Well, he could say something for their kidnappers; they were pretty arrogant I they thought they could keep them here long enough to feed them meals.

John narrowed his eyes at Dean. "Crackheads. Sure."

He watched one of the newcomers try one of the doors as the woman seemed to be having a reunion with the Doctor. It seemed strangely coincidental that two of their small group knew other people here. Were there others here, he wondered. People he, George, or the other guy knew?

On the heels of that, something else occurred to him and he sidled up to George. John's shoulders were tense - the way George was fondling the six ball, it'd be easy for him to snap it up and throw at someone - but he kept his voice casual as he leaned a hip against the table.

"Interesting that there are seven names on that locker list and seven of us here, but," he smiled blandly, "no George. Wanna come clean with me? Because I think we've got enough problems on our hands without you lying."

Neal continued his survey of the room, only lightly minding the other conversations until he noticed the soldier stepping up beside him.

The accusation didn't come as any surprise. The question was, was it worth it to keep up the cover? On one hand, he'd seen some pretty elaborite setups in his day. This could have been some sick plan for revenge. On the other, his name was now in play and no one seemed to know it. He weighed the options quickly.

"Hey, you act like I know what's going on around here. I'd be just as surprised if my name was on there." He wasn't about to give up the cover just yet.

He pissed off Adler enough that he would be surprised if he'd turned him over to some psychopath with a bloodlust. He also didn't have all the answers about the explosion. Maybe someone was getting him out of the way.

"Besides, I think we have bigger problems right now than a clerical error," he said, noting the cameras. "I'm what you might call a security expert, and I don't recognize any of this equipment."

With a last glance to the busy room behind him, Sam ducked into the room. The wall just inside the door was covered in little metal lockers. Upon closer inspection, he saw the names placed neatly near the tops of the doors.

His was just next to the door on the top row. He flipped it open. For a moment he thought it was empty. Just to be sure, he felt around inside and immediately his hand fell on a small metal object. He snatched it up and started examining it. Unfortunately the poor lighting made it difficult to make out at first, but ad he ran his hand over it, a screen lit up. He must have hit a button or something with his fingers. It wasn't very bright, but it was enough to make out the text.

It looked like a pretty basic, old style PDA OS. It called to mind his module he'd made, which lead him to an alarming realization: the chip was gone. He gripped at his shirt, hoping he'd feel it hanging under his shirt, but there was no sensation of a chain or chip. He tried to mask the dread he felt with a faint hope that it had been left behind when he'd been grabbed, no matter how unlikely that seemed.

After a moment to cool down, he returned to the present problem and the unfamiliar PDA. At the top of the screen, he noted his name, which was strange to say the least. It wouldn't have come as a surprise to learn that everyone had one.

It was him, but he seemed so different; not the same as the last time she saw him. She could tell just by looking in those eyes of his. Then again, she had changed a lot since the last time as well. "How long?" She choked up, almost not wanting to know the answer to that question.

Rose stepped closer to him, carefully looking him over. "How can we both be here? The walls were sealed off I thought." From the corner of her eyes she saw the others going about and some of them entering another room, but right now it seemed like none of that mattered. Her full attention was on the Doctor.

"Mean, if someone was able to bring me here from the other universe then," she shook her head. "They'd have to be really powerful...or have some really advanced technology...or somethin', yeah? No way this could just happen?"

It was cruel. That was the only word for it. He stood there, the rest of the world, the rest of the people, for a moment, numb to the Time Lord. Here he'd been running and running to the ends of the universe and somewhere, somehow, as if fate itself was ripping him away he'd ended up here...a part of him had thought, even just upon waking, that this was it. This was where he stopped running, forced to meet his fate. To have Rose show up here, like this...it felt unbelievably cruel. He wasn't the same and a part of the man wasn't even sure he could look at her right, really look at her after all that had happened, at what he'd become. She'd changed him, made him kind, made him caring and here he was.

He tried for a grin, something of his old talent, but it held somehow weaker, more softer than it might've once. When she asked the first question he didn't answer it; unable to really touch on that and honestly it had been years. "Not sure...not...yet, well. I mean, if they are taking us from separate realities--not a good thing. Really. Really not a good thing. What's the last you remember...?"

His eyes followed both Sams as they left the room, keeping one ear out in case something went wrong. His instincts in a fucked up situation like this told him he should keep his little brother in his sights at all times but he knew that would just make Sam pissy.

Dean frowned hearing the soldier-looking guy's words and slowly made his way over to him and the one who may or may not be named George. So far he knew both Sams, Rose, and he'd heard the trench coat dude being called Doctor...so these two were John and Neal though he didn't know which was which. All he knew is one of them was lying.

He gave the "George" guy a pleasant smile...he'd try to give the guy a chance before he started to get pissed. "Any chance one of the names up there is a nickname or alias of yours? Cause see, if you're not up there it tells me two things...that you may be partially responsible for what's happening and that there's somebody who should be here that isn't. That means we'd have to go do the search party thing, which sucks and takes up a shit ton of time we could be using on figuring out how to get out of here. So...you sure you don't recognize any of the names up there Georgie?"

He walked to the end of the smaller room, running the fingertips of his broken arm along the cold aluminum table tops. Pressing his ear up to the other door in the corner of the room, he listened to see if there was anything on the other side. Nothing. He pushed his ear away from the door and decided to try the handle. Locked. Amazing... If only there was something he could use as a lock pick. Looking around the room again to see if he missed anything, he found a huge stinking pile of nothing.

He pursed his lips at the door, annoyed at finding yet another one locked. Hearing the sound of his brother’s voice get a little louder, he decided to make his way back out to the main common room. He was faced with the ‘Doctor’ and the blonde chick. They were staring at each other a little too intently and knew that something big was going on between them.

Deciding to give them a little space, he checked out the bulletin board. He had only glanced at it briefly before Dean showed up and he hadn’t had a chance to study it more or less. Noting that, yeah there was no ‘George’ on the list, he joined his brother’s side at the pool table. “You sure Neil Caffrey isn’t an alias of yours or something? If it is, I think you should tell us now before we get any farther into this,” he said, pursing his lips at the shorter suit wearing man. Something about this guy just set his nerves on edge.

John looked from Dean to Sam as they each questioned George in turn. He'd love the see the suit get thrown off his game, but if he was anything like John's brother, it'd take more than this.

Also on the edge of his awareness was the last unnamed man, who'd gone into one of the rooms and hadn't come out yet. John itched to check on him, but one thing at a time.

Crossing his arms over his chest, he leaned in a little closer to George/Neal and smiled. It didn't reach his eyes.

"I don't know, right now this seems like a potentially important clerical error. You were scared, I get that, but the game's up. If you're not Neal, you're the only one of us here not on that list and that will only lead me to some conclusions that'll be very uncomfortable for you."

The group of burly men around him startef to make Neal anxious. He was never the violent type, but he gently laid his fingers over the solid pool ball before he next spoke. "If you guys are looking to make me feel uncomfortable, you're doing a great job. Really." At this point it felt like it was too soon to give up.

"You all seem pretty ready to make me your enemy. I want to get out of here just as badly as you do." That certainly wasn't a lie. He had a room full of priceless Nazi treasure waiting for him.

"Maybe Neal is here somewhere." He motioned to the closed door to the supply room. "Anyone catch his name?"

Sam emerged from the dim supply room with the device in hand. "Hey," he announced, waving the small metal thing in the air. "I think I found something."

It was more than a little unsettling that someone had gone to all this trouble to trap them here. On top of that, he was starting to suspect that it was far more elaborate than a simple series of kidnappings.

There was something more off about him then Rose realized at first. Sure, she knew their time came to an end some time ago, but the way he looked at her, it just didn't feel the same as before. She wondered what had happened to him to change him so much.

She shook head, "thought so. You mean with you? Droppin' me off at Bad Wolf bay for the last time. Least thought it was the last time I'd be seein' you. Yet here we are."

For once she didn't know how to act around him. There was a part of her that wanted to scream at him for what he did. Sure, she understood his reasoning for it, but that didn't make it right for him to do what he did. At the same time, she wanted to hug him. She knew things would never be the same again, but she was still happy to see him. But, the look in his eyes, made her stand back.

"Suppose we should talk bout this later," she motioned over towards the others. "Need to figure this place out, just like old times, yeah?" She offered him up a weak smile in hopes he'd respond with some sort of joy to see her again.

The Doctor nodded his head, clearly distracted at the words of the girl. In reality he still felt it was the right decision, something that had been cold and terrible that day so long ago. He'd lost Donna too, lost so much. For a man with a family so large he'd still escaped them, labeled it as better and struggled to move on. The Time Lord tried for a grin at the words, like his old self, and sure enough some of it at least showed through part way. "Oh yes....like old times." Old times? He could barely properly look at Rose let alone think that...The man turned, trench coat whirling slightly at the talk about George. "Right! As for you three, George is really, really not the guy to target right now. He's right...now is, well, probably the last time to be pointing fingers. I mean, look at where we are. Just look. We have no idea what's happened, no idea where we could be and for all we know something's out there trying to pin us on each other, yea? So, I'm asking...really, please, let's work together before jumping to conclusions. From the looks of it and...well," he gestured toward the open door to the kitchens, "with all of these rooms open I'm guessing they plan to keep us here for a while...and honestly, cameras and all, not difficult to say they're looking for something. Could be a reaction from us or could be something else entirely, but for now? We're stuck together." Lord knew the Time Lord had gone down that path before, the memory still so vivid and disturbing against his mind. He knew all too well what fear and suspicion could drive a scared group of humans to and already he found both an intense worry for Rose as well as something of a bitterly selfish relief she was there with him at all.

It was true beyond anything else that the Doctor needed someone. He needed someone to be there, no matter the man he'd turned into and a part of him was horribly, terribly resentful at himself for this fact; a guilt weighing heavy on his conscience. The sound of a woman's name still crept up against him, a ringing gunshot to vibrate through his head. A power lust and a madness that seemed to challenge the whole of the universe when left on his own. After all, with everything that had happened, he couldn't afford to drag anyone else into this pit he'd created. Still, he had his old gestures, that same kindness even if there was something a bit more lost and darker behind those eyes. He wouldn't see George turned into a sacrifice over the situation or the fear, not if he was around and not sure as hell if the man could prevent it.

"I'm not ready to make anybody my enemy," looks between the trenchcoat Doctor and the possible George. "I'm not threatening the guy, but until we know what's up...he's the only one whose name is on the list so it would be stupid not to at least keep an eye on him until we know what's up." What the hell was wrong with these guys?

He looked over to the soldier guy, hearing him mention the name Neal to George. "So that must mean you're John. Right. John, I'm Dean, the giant over there is my little brother Sam," points to the pretty blonde alien chick, "that would be Rose," points to trenchcoat, "Doctor...I guess," points to the suit, "possible George, and the other guy's name was Sam Flynn." Well, if nothing else at least they all had names. "So that means the Neal guy must be missing, and we should probably start looking."

As he listened to the doctor speaking, Sam’s eyebrows raised. “Seriously? He was the one pointing fingers at you when woke up, Doctor,” the taller Winchester said. He looked the metro-sexual looking man up and down once, not really wanting to let him out of his sight. Normals like him made his job tough and he had a feeling that George was gonna make it even tougher. Great.

He shot his brother a ‘keep an eye on him’ look and then headed over to the other Sam to see what he had found. Another Sam… That might get a bit confusing later on. Sam looked at the small PDA that the guy was holding, head tilted. “Where’d you get that?”

"No one's looking to make you their enemy, George," John said, putting just a little emphasis on the name. "And no one wants you to be uncomfortable, but," and now he looked to the Doctor. "Lying's not the best way to establish trust."

He pushed away from the pool table. George was a problem, but not the problem; John didn't actually believe he had anything to do with them being there, but he was concerned about anyone who would go to such lengths to obfuscate their real identity. It made him wonder what else he had to hide.

He joined Sam at... Sam's side and looked at the PDA. Things were looking worse by the minute. That they were intended to be here for an extended stay was abundantly clear.

"This was in your locker, wasn't it?" John asked, and then looked between the two men. "I don't suppose one of you goes by your last name, huh?"

With the horde disbanded, Neal felt as though he could breathe again. This "Doctor" was turning out to be a helpful ally. "Thanks." He released the pool ball and rolled it away.

"If you don't mind," he spoke somewhat to the room as a whole, though hardly loud enough for people in his vicinity to hear. "I'm going to see what I can find out about these cameras."

Sam skipped right past the other Sam's question and went straight to answering the other guy's. "Yeah." He thumbed back to the door behind him. "They're all in there."

He'd have shown more interest in his fellow captives, but he had discovered the stylus and was examining the system, and trying to get past the basic OS to see what its root code.

Rose watched each of the mean as they spoke. She glanced over at George, wondering if he was really the Neal on the list. It seemed to all fit together, but the Doctor was right in the fact that at this point, that was the least of their worries. And really, she could understand if someone didn't want to give their real name. If he wasn't Neal, then she hoped they would find this Neal and he is okay.

"Not a big fan of the cameras. Makes you wonder who's on the other end," she said as she walked up to one of the cameras and looked in it.

His eyes narrow a little bit at the mysetrious George, "how about I help you with that?" He looked around the room, trying to spot something that would help. "Hell, we've got chairs and pullcues, knock one of those cameras down and we can have a closer look." He honestly doubted if this guy knew anything about security, but hell maybe Georgie would surprise him. Either way he wasn't leaving Dean's sight.

Overhearing John's comment he glanced over at the short Sam. "Think you could go by your last name? Or you got a nickname? People start calling around Winchester we still got the same problem of people being confused."

"Not a problem," He responded with a bit of a weak grin towards George, but turned his attention to what one of the Sams had evidentially found, looking curious. He frowned slightly too at Rose's comment, glancing toward her. "You know, I was wondering about that," He confided.

Good. They were talking mechanics, talking discovering what was happening. That, for now, was something he could deal with. Distractions; always the source of the man's trek across the universe.

"If something's watching....makes you wonder why. You remember Satellite 9?" His voice was distracted, low, and more in some amount of deep speculation ans he moved gently to see what the others had found so far, eyeing Rose carefully as he did for a moment.

Sam turned away from the shorter man who not only ignored his question but ignored John's second question as well. Yeah, they were all gonna be great friends with the ignoring and such. Listening to John's statement about finding the PDA in his locker, Sam pushed open the door into the locker room. He made a b-line for the set of lockers, looking over the names quickly.

Finding that his locker was on the bottom, Sam frowned. "Awesome," he whispered as he crouched low to retrieve his own PDA, turning it on and looking it over. Looking the casing over quickly, he discovered the stylus. He pulled the small plastic out of his hole and started tapping away on the surface. He found a place for private messages, a log and a number of other things. As he clicked on each of the bold words at the top of the home screen, he stopped when he found the unlabeled map on the INFO page. His eyes widened as he looked quickly over the map. "Oh crap..." Even without the rooms being labeled he could still tell this place was huge.

Standing to his full height, he found his brother's locker. "The shorter one gets the top locker?" he asked the room. He pursed his lips as he glared up at the camera in the upper corner of the room. Obviously it was someone's stupid idea of a joke. Was he supposed to get annoyed at that or something? He rolled his eyes and opened his brother's locker, finding nothing else but the PDA type thing. He slid his brother's locker contents into his pocket and headed back towards the door. If he and Dean were accidentally separated, they needed something to communicate with and this was what they’d use.

John was somewhat inclined to suggest they smash all the cameras they could see, try and get a rise out of their captors, but he kept his mouth shut. He wanted a little more information before he seriously pissed whoever was watching them off.

Without another word to anyone he followed the taller Sam into the locker room and quickly found his and took down the PDA. He looked at it, brows drawn together. "Yeah," he said. "I'm not really the techie type."

He reached into the locker and felt along the top and all its sides before picking up what looked like a wad of paper. As he uncrumpled it, he realized it was a paper cup. He sniffed it, but it didn't smell like anything had been in it, and there was nothing written on it. Just a piece of garbage, he figured, and tossed it back into his locker. He didn't really plan on being around to use it.

He laughed at Sam's bitching. "I'll say something to the manager." Turning back to the door he asked, "What did the Blackberry tell you?"

Before he could answer Rose's question, Dean chimed in with his Neanderthal suggestion. "I think if I can get a closer look that should be good enough. I don't want to piss off the man behind the curtain."

On that note, he went over, grabbed one of the chairs and carried it over. He took a moment to inspect the stability before stepping up. He was still a few feet to short to get his hands on it, but it definitely gave him a better vantage point.

The casing looked pretty solid and the swivel mount was the most substantial he'd ever seen. This was prison-level security. The camera had a remotely adjustable lens with a solid casing around it and even the lens itself was clearly meant to endure a bit of punishment. "I don't think a pool cue is going to get this down," he reported as he stepped down. "More like a torch or a plasma-cutter."

They were right about the multiple Sams thing. He'd done that before in school and at a few other points in his life. "Yeah," he said, not really looking up at Dean. "Flynn's alright." A part of him hated being called by his last name. Some of that was a subconscious dislike from years of living in the shadow of his father's notoriety. The rest of was all the kind of psychological baggage you carry with you when you've had as messed up a childhood as Sam had.

But he wasn't really thinking about that. He was far more interested in cracking the system. "Its pretty sophisticated," he answered. "These are really locked down. I can't find any OS overrides. Looks like someone made their own system."

"Course I do." How could she forget that place. She followed behind the Doctor, keeping her eyes on the camera. It really was a spooky feeling she got from looking at it. The fact that anyone or anything could be on the other side of it.

Rose watched George and waited as he inspected the camera. "Figures," she sighed when he stepped down with his conclusion. Not like it really mattered though, because what could they really do with the camera. Besides of course cutting off a way for whoever was watching to see them, but Rose wasn't so sure if that was the best idea just yet.

"Probably up there laughin' at us right now."

Not usually too aware of people’s personal bubbles, the Doctor leans over the Sam now dubbed Flynn for a closer look at the PDA. Oh how he longed for his screwdriver, always need the bloody thing the minute it goes missing. “Well at least now we know our captive’s priorities. Old building, old medical equipment, new cameras and ways of communicating. Seems whoever is holding us here is more interested in capturing the moment than they are in our quality of life.”

He can’t help himself from casting a glance over at Rose. He did not get her back to her world in one piece just for her to be plucked up and thrown right back into danger. Shaking off those thoughts that did him no good at the moment, he forced a weak smile to the others. “I suppose the real question here is what makes us so important. Who are we all that someone would go to such an extent to collect us all and put us under this kind of scrutiny?”

Looking up at George, he tried to get a look at the camera. "Well, can we at least smash the lens? Make it harder for them to see us?" Hell, maybe if their equipment was damaged they'd have to come out and deal with them face to face, he liked those odds better.

His ears perked a little hearing the Doctor's question. He knew Sam and him had a decent sized list of enemies....or a giant list of enemies, but somehow he doubted demons cared about collecting people like this. Besides, thy were a lot more hands on. Although...there was always the FBI. "Maybe this is a government thing?"

Before Sam reached the door he turned to face John. "There's a map. Here look," he told him. He took a few steps towards the other man and held out the palm pilot thingy. "I found it on the INFO tab. This place is huge, there's TONS of rooms. Nothings labled but I bet this is gonna make it a lot easier to try to find an exit."

Sam, head down and looking at the small plastic device in his hand as he tapped away at it, looking through the levels quickly. "If there is an exit," he added quietly. He had to show Dean. Looking back up to John, lips tight and a worried look in his eyes, he left the room heading back out to his big brother.

John's dismay grew when he saw just how large the place was. As Sam walked back out, he pulled the PDA's stylus out and started tapping, trying to find the map. He was studying it as he reentered the room.

"Which government? And why?" he asked in answer to Dean's question, but he was still focused on the map. "We've got a layout of this place," he said to the room at large. We should split up, check it out."

With the way the Doctor's life was and just who he was, Rose highly doubted this was just some random picking. She'd maybe even guess that they picked her to try and get to the Doctor, but who where the other people? Clearly the Doctor didn't know them and either did she.

"Oh! Maybe we could like cover them up with something? Don't know if we'd really have to smash them. Any sort of ummm like a shirt or sheets anywhere?" Rose glanced around the room.

Rose moved over towards John wanting to see the layout of the place. "Right, split up and cover more ground," she nodded. "Will we be able to get touch with each other?"

"It's not their style," Neal commented offhandedly about the possibility of a Mozzie-like government conspiracy. "But if you want them to make you the example, be my guest."

Neal was really starting to get the vibe about the group's paranoia. To test his theory, he walked over to the stairwell that appeared to lead down. "I'd certainly like a chance to find a less conspicuous escape route."

Sam enjoyed the choice of the word 'capturing'. It appealed to his very dark sense of humor.

"Well, whoever they are, I'm not going to just sit around a be their lab rat." And the hot chick Rose was right, they should get the lay of the land. "I think I've got an answer for that one," he half-muttered as he tapped at the screen a bit more.

A message appears in everyone's "Message" tab.
