Wesley nodded when Fred agreed with Regan that she just wanted toast. "I think toast would be fine too," he told her while reaching for the toaster and pulling it away from the wall. They got the first pieces in and warming while Wesley get the jam out of the refrigerator as well. The toast was just finishing when Fred pointed out that Regan was gone, but before he could look to see where she had gone, she returned.
And started talking about them being gross and... Did she just imply that he had cooties? His eyebrows shot up his forehead.
"I don't have cooties at all," he said a bit grumpily while putting his slices of toast in the toaster. He couldn't believe that his daughter thought he had cooties, especially after everything they been through. He was her dad. "And making babies is not gross."
He paused as he said that, realizing that probably wasn't the best thing to do, considering he didn't want thinking it was okay to go out and have sex with the first boy she met either. "It's not gross between two people who love each other, like your mum and I do, at least."
