Fred felt her fists clenching at her sides as Roger said Wesley never pleased him. What sort of father said that to their son? She took a step forward but felt Rupert take her elbow to hold her in place. Fred still wanted to hurt Roger but before she could move again, Roger was leaving and slamming the door behind him.
She turned and looked at Wesley and frowned. Going over to the stair case, she sat down beside him and took his hand. "Wesley?" she asked. Fred didn't fully understand what had just happened. She looked up at Rupert and saw that his jaw was set and that he was just as upset as she was.
"Wesley, love? Are you all right?" He asked as he moved to stand in front of his two lovers. "What do you think that was all about? Why would your father want the firm? I haven't heard anything from the Council about them needing something. And I know Willow, Xander or Andrew would've contacted me."
Fred scoffed and squeezed Wesley's hand. "Whatever it is, he's not coming back here. I'm sorry, Wesley but your father is an ass," she said.
