Regan grinned and bounced in her seat when Rupert agreed to talk to her parents. She flung herself at him and tightly hugged him. "Thank you, Uncle Rupert! I love you so much!" she happily chirped. She kissed his cheek and pulled back. "We should do it now."
She packed up the rest of her chicken strips and placed the carton back into the bag. "We'll give them the strips before you talk to them so they aren't hungry and grumpy," she said with a knowing nod. She reached over and picked up her chocolate milkshake. "They don't get this, though."
Regan slipped off the bench and picked up the bag. "Come on!" she said as she bounced around some more. She then noticed some flower bushes. She went over to them and pulled one up. "My mommy will like this one."
She then turned around and looked at Rupert, and waited for him to walk her across the street. Once they were back to the SUV, Regan let Rupert buckle her in and she eagerly awaited for them to return to the firm.
