Fred spent most of the time with Martin, trying hard not to cry. It was all too much to handle and she wanted to go find her husband, their daughter, and Rupert, and just leave. But she had to be there for Angel. The more she thought about it, the more she wanted to stake Angel herself. She was glad Martin was there, though because without him, she would've surely blown everything up.
When they were finished, Fred followed Martin down to the conference room but kept her distance. She didn't want to upset Wesley while he was doing a spell. Instead, she took Regan from Rupert and watched him go into the conference room to help Wesley. She could hear them since the door was cracked a bit and there was a small bit of magic going through the air. She moved a little so she could peek in and saw a bright light surround Spike for a brief moment and then it was over.
Spike looked at all of them and then bounced. "It worked!" he said. He then rushed out of the room, obviously off to find Angel.
Rupert helped Wesley pack up some of the things and clean up. When he was finished, he stepped outside the door and took Regan's hand. "We'll be back in a bit," he said before walking off.
Fred looked toward the room before stepping inside. She shut the door behind her and went over to her husband. Wrapping her arms around him, she hugged him tightly. "I'm sorry," she whispered.
