Dealing with Angel and Spike had tired Wesley out more than he had thought, so much so that he didn't even realize Fred had got up and left the bed. When he heard what sounded like a door opening and closing, he woke up, opening his eyes and sitting up. Rupert was still sleeping - no doubt dealing with the jet lag from the trip now - so he got up and got his dressing gown, putting it on with the pair of track pants he normally wore to bed.
He then headed downstairs to find Martin there, setting the door key down on counter in the kitchen. The other man looked at him with a bit of a look of someone being caught, and Wesley snorted softly.
"Just getting in?" he asked.
"Erm. Yes."
Obviously Martin and Lorne had hit it off quite well. "You haven't seen Fred this morning?"
Martin shook his head. "I think I'm going to go upstairs and get...cleaned up. When will we be leaving for the firm?"
"Probably in an hour," Wesley said, just as he noticed the note sitting on the counter. He picked it up and read over it as Martin disappeared upstairs. When he finished, he headed upstairs, shutting the door and going over to the bed where Rupert still was. "Fred and Regan have already headed into the office. She said she'd meet us there."
He leaned over and kissed him. "How did you sleep?"
