When morning came, Fred found herself sandwiched between Wesley and Rupert. She wanted to stay there all day but knew she needed to get up and get Regan ready to go to the office. Carefully, Fred slipped out of the bed and took a quick shower before getting Regan ready. Of course the little girl wanted to say good morning to her daddy and Uncle Rupert but Fred told her they were still sleeping and that she'd see them later.
After writing the boys a quick note, telling them where they were, Fred grabbed her keys off the key rack and took Regan to her car. Much like the SUV, it was brand new and Fred had yet to really drive it. Soon Regan and her were on the way to the firm, only to be practically attacked when they stepped off the elevator.
"Where is it?!" Angel asked while he bounced in place.
"Don't pee yourself, Peaches!" Spike said before looking at Fred. "Yeah, where is it?"
"Angel pees his pants?" Regan asked with a confused look.
Fred sighed and rubbed her forehead. She remembered Wesley didn't tell them about the spell and she was under the impression that still held true. "I don't know what you're talking about," she said as she tried to step around them.
"Don't lie! Percy told us you did! So where is it?" Spike asked as he crossed his arms. "Do you know how old it is to be a ghost? I can't even play with my willie!"
"What's a willie?" Regan asked.
"The spell won't be done until this afternoon. And then you'll be fixed," Fred said before she stepped around Spike and took Regan's hand. "Come on, sweetie."
"It better be or I'm going to haunt you for the rest of your life!"
"Shut up, Spike!"
Fred shook her head and went up the stairs to her lab. The entire way there, she grumbled about how she was going to give Wesley and Rupert a piece of her mind for not warning her. When they got to her office, she unpacked Regan's things and got her settled before sitting down behind her desk.
"Are daddy and Uncle Rupert in trouble?"
"Yes."
"Are you going to give them a time out?"
"Yes."
"You should ground daddy from his books like the two of you grounded me from my toys that one time."
Fred looked up and smirked. "I think I might just do that," she said before she went back to checking her e-mail.
