Fred just shook her head at Angel and Spike. She was about to point out they should leave so they could work but Rupert and Wesley beat her to it. She watched them leave before she looked over at the rest of them. "That makes sense," she said with a nod. "And make sense his time in the other dimension was so short, he doesn't remember it. If only we knew what dimension he was sent to."
Furrowing his brow, Rupert shut the book he was holding. He whispered something against the binding. When he opened it up, he looked down at the text. "There's a dimension where the demons are ghost like. They're rather hard to kill but there's a way to make them corporal," he said as he flipped the page. He stopped and looked up at Martin. "Can I see the amulet again?"
"Sure," Martin said as he handed it over.
Rupert placed it on the page and nodded. "This is a vessel, made in the dimension. When it's activated, it can pull the wearer into another dimension. If that's the case, then it's possible this had a trigger on it. Maybe when it reached a certain temperature, it activated," he said before rubbing his forehead. "Where did Angel get this?"
"Lilah Morgan when we decided to come here," Fred said. "It sort of makes sense. Angel plays the hero and stays down there and stops the ending of the world. We all know how Wolfram and Hart wants to be in charge of that and on their terms. And they saved Angel's life because they need him for other things. So being in the dimension made Spike transparent."
"I believe you're right, Fred. And there's a counter spell to make him corporal again," Rupert said before looking at Wesley. "Think you can find the supplies for it?"
