Fred snuggled against Wesley, realizing how much she had missed this. At the hotel, they were always together but now they seemed to be on different sides of the building. She couldn't help but to wonder if this was done to pull them apart. Sighing, she laid her head against his chest and listened to his heart beat. "They aren't doing anything," she said. "They were all just standing around, looking like a bunch of idiots."
She found herself snuggling closer and closing her eyes. Fred suddenly wished she could just stay there for the rest of the day and not worry about having to deal with the lab. "And Knox... I'm so tired of him. I think I might kill him first," she murmured.
Fred shifted in his arms and looked up at her husband. "Regardless, I haven't found a way to deactivate the virus without blowing Fries' son up," Fred said with a small sigh. "I had to take a break from looking at all of those numbers." She then glance over at the book and journal Wesley had been using. "How about you? Have you figured anything out yet?"
Before he could answer, Fred went back to snuggling against him and closed her eyes again. She was tired and just wanted the day to end.
