Fred went straight to the lab. When she got there, Knox was holding what she assumed was the papers Angel had sent up. She walked over to him and took them from his hands. "Lets see what we have," she said before setting them down on one of the tables. Knox moved closer to her - a little too close and Fred sighed. "Do you mind?"
"Oh! Sorry, boss!" Knox said while stepping back. "I was just a little excited! We haven't had anything like this happen."
Nodding her head, Fred went back to the paperwork, making sure to carefully read everything over. She could still feel Knox lurking around and it was starting to bother her. But she ignored it and went back to looking the papers over. There had to be a way to stop Fries from setting off the bomb.
When Knox became too much to handle, Fred holed herself up in her office and went over all the calculations. Nothing seemed to work so she reworked everything but still nothing worked. She hadn't even realized the time until Knox knocked on her office door and stuck his head in.
"Wanna get a bite to eat with me?" he asked with an eager look.
"No," Fred sternly said. She looked over at him and shook her head. "Knox, I'm married and I love Wesley very much. I don't like it when you hang around me like a lost puppy. You need to start respecting my personal space or we're going to have a problem."
Knox looked hurt but Fred didn't care. It made her feel uncomfortable. "I need a break," she said before standing from her desk. She brushed past Knox, practically knocking him over, and stepped out into the lab. Several of the workers were standing around, doing nothing, and Fred growled.
"Get to work! This is important. In all the time I spent in my office, not one of you came in with any ideas. When I get back, I want something from you," she snapped before she turned and stormed out of the lab.
Without thinking, Fred went straight to Wesley's office. She went inside and saw him sitting on his couch. Fred went over and sat down beside him and sighed. "Think Angel will get mad if I kill everyone in the lab?" she asked with a serious look.
