Fred smiled when Lorne came to get Regan. She was glad to have her friends, knowing they would always take care of Regan and love her as their own. With their line of work, she couldn't trust a stranger with Regan. And their daughter adored everyone, especially Lorne and Cordy. Fred also knew how difficult it was on Regan not to have Cordy around.
With a soft sigh, she turned her attention to Angel and listened to him speak. Fred furrowed her brow and wondered what the problem was if the client admitted to his guilt. Before she could say anything, Wesley was asking Angel and her mouth dropped open when Angel told them what the client had threatened.
"What kind of bomb?" Gunn asked.
"It's a virus," Angel said as he stood. He rubbed his forehead and looked at all of them. "There's more."
"More?" Fred asked. "How can you trump something like that?"
"Easily," Angel said with a grave look. "They planted the virus in his son."
"Oh, god," Fred muttered before shaking her head. "What do you need me to do?"
"I sent some specs up to the lab. I need you to figure out how to get the virus out of the kid before he can set it off," Angel said.
Fred nodded and leaned over to kiss Wesley. "I'll call later," she said before she walked out of the room and toward the lab.
