Despite Knox hovering over her, Fred was able to finish the antidote within the hour. She was glad that Regan seemed to be busy with her lessons and wasn't paying attention at the moment. Even though Fred knew Knox deserved everything her daughter did to him, she just didn't have the time to deal with it. Lives were at stake and she wasn't about to let Fries win.
Once she was finished, she took Regan and walked out of the lab. She didn't want to take her daughter to medical but there wasn't anyone around to watch her and she certainly didn't trust anyone at the firm to do it. Until they were practically attacked by Harmony.
"Oh my God! She's so cute!" the vampire said before grinned at Regan.
"Mom," Regan said before she hid behind Fred.
"Hey, Harmony. Regan, sweetie, this is Harmony. She works for Angel," she said.
"With. I work with him. I'm his assistant!" Harmony happily chirped. "What are you two doing?"
"My mommy's going to save someone's life!" Regan proudly said.
Fred looked at Harmony and then at Regan. She really needed someone to sit with Regan when they got to medical. She wasn't sure if Wesley would approve but she'd deal with him later. "Harmony... do you think you could come with us and watch Regan for a bit? It won't be for too long," she said.
"Sure!" Harmony said.
Fred nodded and led the two of them to medical. Once Regan was settled, and Fred made sure she wasn't going to stake Harmony, she walked into the room with Matthew and Wesley. "Sorry it took me longer than I expected. Hello, Matthew," she said before pulling out a syringe. "This won't hurt at all."
"I'm not scared of shots," Matthew bravely said.
Smiling, Fred nodded and pushed the needle into Matthew's arm and injected him with the antidote.
