Fred was beyond happy when Wesley agreed that they should have another child. Truth be told, she wanted a house full of kids. She had always been so lonely being an only child and she wanted her children to have constant friends. Plus, Fred knew it wasn't going to be easy for Regan to make a lot of friends due to how she'd spent the first half of her childhood and having a few siblings would help her.
"I love you so much," she said before she deeply kissed him. She knew he was right and they should probably wait a few weeks before trying, even though Fred hoped it happened right away. She loved being pregnant.
Soon, the two of them fell asleep and for the first time in weeks, Fred didn't dream about demons or the end of the world. She dreamt of her and Wesley sitting at a dinner table with Regan and several other children. Their family. And it was the most beautiful sight she'd ever seen.
When morning came again, Fred found herself not wanting to get up but she knew she had to. Much like the morning before, they got ready and headed to the firm. Regan decided she wanted to spend the morning with her mom but before any of them could move, Angel announced he'd gotten Fries' son. Nodding, Fred looked over at Wesley.
"I'll get the antidote ready and you work on the trigger. Meet me up in medical in about an hour," she said.
Taking Regan's hand, Fred ignored Knox and went up to the lab and to her office. Once Regan was settled with some lessons with a math workbook, Fred went about adding the last component to the antidote.
