metahuman fourth of july.
happy birthday, 'murica. WHO: Cara Moon, and anyone who saw her flyers about the fourth of july potluck barbecue in the Atrium today. WHAT: I repeat: 4th of July potluck barbecue. WHEN: 5PM. WHERE: Atrium, in the middle of the small park. DETAILS: Cara and any helpers who would have volunteered to give her a hand spent most of her day fluttering between the dining hall where she had a bunch of stuff cooking and the Atrium, where she was setting up a circle of picnic tables and three grills to prepare for the barbecue. Or the Commissary, when she needed more supplies. Agents were obviously welcome to watch her like a hawk and sneak food. It's not like she could stop you. Personally, from herself, she brought homemade popsicles and patbingsu, but those were on the dessert table. There were also hamburgers, cheeseburgers, veggie burgers, tofu burgers, turkey burgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, chill dogs, herb potato salad, grilled corn, collard greens, a full salad bar, and shish kabobs available. She also had gluten-free and other various options for people with particular food allergies. As far as refreshment went, there were various juices, sodas, smoothies, and water available for people, and a Capers person (volunteers?) on hand to mix a fourth of july cocktail for people who confirmed they were 21. Unless you're not allowed to have alcohol in the Atrium. Then never mind. In addition to all this, there were bare tables for people to bring their own food. This is a potluck, after all. Food aside, there was a Spotify playlist of patriotic songs playing and Casey Garrett found a way to rig up some televisions out there so they could see the fireworks when it came time for that. Until then, Cara was running around making sure everyone was having a good time and didn't need anything. Metahumans and agents alike were welcome, as long as no one got, you know, rowdy. Children also welcome. NOW IT'S UP TO YOU... to comment below with whether or not your character came, who they came with, what they were wearing, what they ate and drank, did they dance, did they have fun, did they give Cara a headache. You know, the usual stuff. Have fun, and happy Independence Day to all! |
