The boy hates being on a pirate ship. Despicable, dirty, wicked pirates... Men with no concern for decency or respect for human life. Men with no purpose or real use other than to do harm to others. Jack wants no part of this life. Still... They're about to set sail. That has a fine feel to it. So Jack busies himself on deck, tending to rigging and leaning against the gunwales of the bow to feel the salt air breeze. For someone so put out over his present company, he certainly seems pleased from the look of him.
