Jin Yoon knows she shouldn't have taken the string of beads from the doctor's desk. He's been nothing but kind to her, always, if odd and sometimes unsettling, and he trusted her enough to leave her alone with his things.
But they were (and are) so pretty, all soft gleaming bone colored spheres without an imperfection to be seen- cool and heavy, so she imagines they are glass or something like it.
She hadn't intended to take them. She hadn't. He'd surprised her coming back sooner than she thought and they simply...fell up her sleeve.
Today, she will take them back. She has decided this.
But it can't hurt to try them on first, can it?
So they ended up wound several times around her wrist, and she was in the middle of breathlessly drawing her fingertips over them when the knock came at the door. She's startled enough to forget she has them on, and is on her feet and pulling open the door before she remembers and hides that hand behind her back. Hopefully, no one will have seen.
"...little fish?" She tries to sound as guiltless as possible.
