"A really bad horror movie," Sam chipped in with some added humor, "with bad special effects and cheesy acting." Oh how he could count the dozen or so movies he'd seen on the TV in the motel rooms he'd stayed in, most of the time he couldn't even finish the ridiculous things, but the lives of his brother and him were very unlike the fictional movies. In fact, the effects were very real and the emotions weren't scripted. "But ghosts may not be involved."
Dean had pretty much said what Sam had been thinking; just some man with a lot of money and capabilities of kidnapping people. Sounded too much like a similar case in which Sam had been abducted by a family of cannibals who enjoyed hunting humans, but that didn't mean they should stop investigating because not only were they in danger, but other people were as well. And they weren't exactly caged in either. The guests had been free to roam about and do as they pleased which led Sam to question if the front door was unlocked. "We should find the entrance and see if it's locked. Chances are, if the door is open then whoever sent us here will be waiting outside to catch us."
