Chas didn’t even have to look up to know that if it had that awkward for himself? It must have been even more so for John. Alright. He could sure keep telling himself that over and over again, still he couldn’t just live in denial about that. It was something sure to be faced with again, sooner or later.
He didn’t care much for food at the moment – not that the candy earlier had really served as a substitute for lunch - but it sure passed for a distraction, and that was something not all too unwelcome. Not that he thought it would help much, but still. It was better than standing in the bathroom and awkwardly fidgeting with his cap or the sleeves of his jacket, that much was for sure.
