Astarte watched the reaction with interest. This display did not meet that which the file had discussed upon the boy. Where was the combative nature, the dry and sarcastic wit? It seemed to have been swallowed in surprise, and the scent of the passion of fear. She had to resist stroking through the thick curls upon Tsar's head, knowing that might draw attention to the child when it was not needed. Instead, she relaxed in her seat and pretended to act along the lines of the woman she had been watching for a while then - learning her every little action so that she could take her over without anyone's least suspicion until the correct time; if that was ever to come.
"Now, Kayden. You know that isn't acceptable. Please, put the cigarette away." It was a polite enough request, and she said it with the faintest of smiles - using the woman's voice while she wore her. Her own was shades different, and far more alluring. It was a thick and wanton purr - sensuality attuned to a sound. The one she used then? Seemed a bit nasal in her opinion, but that was only to be expected, wasn't it? Some mortals had the most obnoxious accents.
Her mind then delved in to the woman's memories as she watched the youth's reaction. He 'saw' according to his outlooks. Saw what most would not believe there. Astarte tilted her head, and as she did so, Astaroth came upwards towards the surface and whispered softly against her inner ear.
He sees us, that's why he's dripping with that emotion. The words were given in an amused undertone. It was all Astarte could do not to roll her eyes at her inner male aspect.
I understand that, Astaroth. It isn't time to break the game just yet - so please, do settle back down, or work with me instead of spouting out like a simpleton would, darling.
Of course, it brought a counter argument forth from Astaroth, and as soon as it did - Astarte overrode the inner male which had been born from her subconscious so that she could concentrate on the youth. For a long moment, Astaroth remained silent - but then let his excitement settle down so that he could join in the game. Tsar, for his part, felt the tension within his Mother, and began to squirm. Astarte did not even look down at him, of course - but whether or not it allowed the young human to see him? Well, she would soon find that out, would she not?
