"You're looking for an apartment?" He replied, looking up from where he was bonding then with the friendly dog. She was so pretty! He scratched behind her ears and cooed at her, despite the fact he'd just been told she was deaf. However, she seemed to be eating up the attention regardless. "Magic bus?" Did he mean? Wait, there were magic buses? No one had ever told him that! He felt slightly left out, suddenly. Was this other youth a witch too? Kohaku didn't ask, of course. He didn't yet know if the other was safe in that perspective or not. After all, common sense had just dawned on him. He probably didn't really mean a magical magic bus. It was probably just a random nickname for a vehicle he loved.
"Oh, well . . . I pay about 900 dollars monthly." He didn't add in that his Dad sent money to him to help even out the balance. Even if he'd not seen his Father in some time, Akio still sent him said funds, as well as gifts while he tried to woo his youngest son back in to his debauched life. He'd tried to send things back before, but they'd always been returned yet again to him, with rather forceful notes that he wasn't allowed to refuse gifts from someone who loved him. It was a very sorrowful situation. Kohaku loved his Father, honestly. However, Akio was just. . . too deep in to darkness for the youth to ever feel truly comfortable around. He could practically feel it rolling off of him when they met.
