Who: Kaydence and Chester. [mentions of Casper.] Type: Thread. Where: Chester's home. When: After Chess asked him to come help kick some Zombie ass. What: Kaydence makes his way across town to where Chess had boarded himself in his house to try and escape the 'zombie apocalypse' trying to get inside his home. Warning: TBA...so far language and violence. Status: Just starting. Why exactly was Kayden taking the trip all the way across town to help out a guy he didn’t know and had never even met before? Simple, he thought it might be amusing to watch him try and fight off a hoard of Zombies because he genuinely believed that the guy could see them, or at least thought that he could. The whole goddamn town was seeing them but whether or not they were in fact there Kaydence couldn’t seem to decide upon, he’d spent his entire life questioning reality, what was real and what was just all up in that screwed up head of his but seeing as most of the medication his shrink had pumped him with never seemed to work deep down he knew that the things he saw were not just the result of a chemical imbalance within his brain but hey, ignorance was bliss right?
Leaving his expensive apartment in the most upper class area of Boston he drove his somewhat beat up old mustang through town toward the address he’d been given. The place had descended into absolute chaos; people were running around like headless chickens, no one seemed to know what to do with themselves, funny the way something as simple as a so called zombie apocalypse could drive an entire city into insanity, it was dark, it was morbid and it was depressing and Kayden couldn’t help but let out a soft chuckle and roll his eyes. It didn’t take long though for him to realize that all of this was not only inside of his own head, he could see it all far too clearly for it to be a flicker of insanity the moment he slowly pulled into the unfamiliar driveway and saw the dead trying to break into Chester’s house which lead him once again to question, why, why had he just driven all the way across town to risk his life? Kaydence didn’t risk his life for anyone but himself but even so the answer was blazingly obvious to him even if he chose not to acknowledge or admit it, some small part of him, deep inside was pure, unadulterated evil and that small part relished in the fear of other’s and Chester was indeed afraid, that much had been obvious. Shutting down the car, his messenger bag still slung across his body, filled with more bullet clips than he could ever hope to use, the black standard police issue glock not once leaving his hand as he crossed the lawn toward the house that was being slowly destroyed, dressed in his usual black boots, black jeans and worn out black t-shirt, it was hardly zombie apocalypse fighting gear but it would do.
They hadn’t noticed him yet, it was a good thing really and did nothing more than point out just how stupid Zombie’s in fact were, it was very hard to miss a mop of flaming red hair. First things first though, kill the one trying to climb through the window that had been left open for him. With eyes on the target he raised his weapon, the cool metal feeling heavy and comforting within his hands, his finger on the trigger. One. Two. Thr-... He never got the chance to fire, before he could a dark blur darted across the front lawn with a growling sound that echoed within Kayden’s ears and the head of the zombie came rolling toward him, stopping just in front of his feet. “Well that’s gross.” He mumbled out under his breath, hazel eyes flickering up toward whatever had just beheaded a zombie with no weaponry whatsoever, the creature was doing his best to stay out of sight, that much was obvious to Kayden and yet he couldn’t miss the sight of a blindingly white arctic wolf, for a second the image of the wolf before him flickered, letting him catch a glimpse of the small blonde boy that everyone else around him would see, barely visible where he stayed out of sight from anyone inside the house, dragging away any of the walking dead that came too close to getting inside.
He only had to fire two shots before he could scramble his way in through the opened window, quickly slamming it shut behind him, one hand holding it closed as he looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings behind him and tried to find something to shove up against it. “Fuck dude you really weren’t kidding about being a zombie magnet.”He growled out, puffing just a little.
