Who: Asmo & Andy
What: Andy hands in Kareem's notice and lets Asmo collect on his promise
When: Late Monday/early Tuesday
Where: Asmo's office
Warning: Confused sexual actions, mentions of child abuse, language?
Andy knew that Adrian had thrown down an ultimatum, he knew that if he messed around with Rhys that he'd lose Adrian for good but he didn't care. Losing the man who confused him so, who treated him like he had worth but not at the same time would hurt only him, and who cared if that happened? Leaving Adrian to be attacked by Rhys though, that was something Andy couldn't stomach and something that he'd sacrifice even their weird almost-not-friendship for. If Adrian hated him for this at least he'd be in one piece to do so, at least he wouldn't have been reduced to the sick, small, rotted soul that Andy was. He could say what he liked, Andy didn't care; he would have said the same about himself anyway.
That and his brother's were safe now, although he'd have to keep an eye on Taj. Maybe he could work out the same deal with Rhys for his brother too, that he'd lie back and let Rhys take him whenever however he wanted in exchange for Taj's continued safety - his brother really had fun gambling and Andy didn't think that using his body was more important than denying Taj something that made him happy, especially not after everything else he'd done to make his brother miserable. He would have done it for them to keep the gigs too, but that point hadn't really been taken up, especially if Kareem was quitting to stay away from there. Andy couldn't keep his eye on all his brothers at once.
He had a letter of resignation for Kareem in his hand, dressed in only a plain t-shirt, button up jeans and slip-on trainers along with a sad looking open zip up hoodie. No underwear. If Rhys was going to take this as payment for leaving the people he cared for alone, Andy was damn sure he wasn't going to risk making it difficult.
"You don't say no. You don't say no." he reminded himself, taking a breathand letting it out along with everything that made him aware and alive, everything that brought that independent spark to his eyes. He knocked on the door and readied himself to walk in.
