Adrian (as usual) seemed to understand the bulk of these sorts of feelings and his life even paralleled them to some extent. It really was odd how it came down to Andy and Addie as friends. If Adrian were really honest with himself, he'd probably classify this petite sickly unicorn boy as his best friend. The only thing that really prevented the label was the fact Adrian wasn't completely honest with him. He lied. A Lot. He wondered often if Andy would run scared if he ever found out the truth about him, all his demon ways. He'd never take that chance again, not on purpose, not after being as honest as he was with London and being turned on like that. He was too selfish. He wanted Any in his life. He'd not tell him. He'd not risk it. Everyone who knew the real him ... couldn't be counted on except for Minzy and Abel. These were his people. But, somehow even though Andy didn't know that side of him... Adrian still considered him in that group. He actually put him in the top of "his people" and that was weird. He even lost some of his circle due to Andy. Minzy was easily his best friend, but still he could go to Andy about things he'd never tell her. Minzy was like Andy's brothers in a way. Adrian trusted her with anything... but that didn't mean anything was put before her.
Adrian walked into their room, the one the King had never been in, not even Abel, or Minzy. It was a place only Andy had ever had access to for as long as Caim had it and it had started to seem lonely and empty without Andy's random visits. So, when he opened the door and saw Andy laying there he couldn't help but let a warm smile affix. He went over to the bed and sat on the edge, then slipped up behind Andy. He leaned against the head board and laid a hand on his back. "Hey you. I missed you. Thank goodness I had Taj to keep me from going crazy." Then he leaned his head down and let it rest against his shoulder.
