PittSoDeep: Jean looked over at Kay though and shook his head. He wasn't going to lecture him. He wasn't going to ask why. He knew why. He just wished Kay would have trusted his heavenly kind to get Chess out. He and Stacey had just gotten Kay and Romeo out. They could have done the same thing for Chess if only Kay would just slow down and talk things out with people instead of only freaking out inside his own mind by himself. He didn't let people in and therefore he didn't really get other opinions for help. It was too late now. But if Kay thought that meant Jean was done he was wrong. "Kay." His face pained then didn't say anything else. He looked at Kay's head, his mouth. He knew he couldn't talk back. The pain in Jean's face only got worse as he looked at his the person he wanted to save and failed. Finally his face changed. He started to look angry. "I'm not giving up. I didn't for London and she's not mine. You're mine. (yet another claim) You haven't gotten rid of me yet Kay. Nice fucking try, but not yet, not fucking ever." Then he turned back to Romeo right when Jules and Stacey popped in and all his attention stayed with Romeo. Jules saw Kay though and lifted his own hand and did exactly the same move Contessa did and unwravveled Kay's lips so that he could have his voice back. "Go Kay. Rest tonight. Your sacrifice won't go unnoted by heaven. But, for now... just go... It's time to go." (11:14:26 AM) showmejazzhands: Kaydence watched Jean in silence and listened to his words, shaking his head slowly as he did so. He didn't want Jean to try, he didn't want any of them to try, it wasn't worth the risk on Chess' life and that was all Kay had ever cared about, as long as Chess was safe it didn't really matter who owned what part of him. He winced when the magic unravelled from his lips but he still didn't speak to any of them as he turned and walked from the room and then the house, doing his best to wipe the blood from his face and trying to hail a cab. Romeo blinked without really seeing the room or anyone in it, it hurt to breath and every time he tried he felt as though he was drowning but holding his breath only hurt more, all he could hear was his own heart beat thudding in his ears and with each rush it spread the blood further from the crack at the back of his head down over his neck, it was wet and his body started to shake from the cold. (11:25:05 AM) PittSoDeep: Jules was a man of many trades and even though he didn't have healing type powers he did have medical know how and he'd brought his emergency kit and sprang right into action and jabbed him in the lung again, popping between two ribs with a blade and blood gushed. He proceed to stick in a chest tube to drain him of all the fluid so that he could breath, no anestetic, just like in a human ER when life or death was on the line. Then he looked down into his face waiting for the big breath he should have been able to get giving him all the life sustaining oxygen his body was turning blue from. Chess on the hand was in his Caim's home and in his own room too, already given to him to come to whenever he wanted sanctuary. Caim was still with him though. He didn't want to be alone. He was in one of his clingy modes where all he wanted was Kay that was the man promising he'd be coming back soon. They were both up on the bed, Caim leaning against the headboard, and Chess with his head on his lap, still clutching him while Caim stroked his back and hair and kept telling him stories of how Kay and he could be safe now. Safe and Happy. Chess was buying it. But, he wasn't happy. He needed Kay just to be sure everything he was hearing was real. Caim was starting to get impatient and think Kay needed to hurry up.
