Seeing that his tears appeared to be working to ease Taj's pain did a lot to help Andy stop them, sniffling and rubbing at his face a little until they stopped, sucked back like he did the cold shards of sharp feelings left behind inside him after what he'd found out.
A look of something like pain briefly flashed through Andy's expression at what Taj said - do without him? How about be relieved from the burdens that Andy pushed onto his brother, or be free from the dirt he carried under his skin, pushed even deeper now, how about a life with less anguish because he wouldn't have been around to bring it. He didn't say any of this though, just shook his head at the attempted apology.
"I know baby, don't say you're sorry, you don't need to say sorry for that." he said adamantly, even a little relieved that the episode had given him a chance to hide from confronting what he'd learned. "Are you feeling okay? How are you feeling? Should we go back in, do you feel up to moving yet?"
