And here it was. Taj wanted to get it over with. Let time move forward. "Ok Andy." He sighed deep readying himself to tell the tale. "I don't even think you remember, but yesterday remember when I said I had a hearing to go to, told you it was just formality, work stuff? because well... I knew up here nothing was going to come of it." He tapped at his head to tell Andy that his sphinx visions let him know nothing bad was going to come of the hearing so he wasn't really worried about it at all. But then he had to tell him what the hearing was about, "It was because I'd crossed the line with bracelet on one night..."
And that's how he began. He told the story from his point of view because it seemed the kindest. He'd seen visions of what went on in that house later. But, he decided those details would be best unremembered unless Andy specifically asked him. He'd never would deny Andy of anything anyway, but certainly nothing directly asked, or was his own to know. He told him about the finding the cabin, the condition he was in and what happened in the car. He told him about the nights under the bed and the phone call with Adrian when Andy couldn't manage to speak on his own. He told him about how he quit his job. He told him of the nights spent helping his night terrors and even about the sheets. He stopped the tale when it came to the part of the day he suddenly snapped out of it. This was cupid's doing. But Taj had never specifically told him who, but Andy already knew it was a person with gifts like them who weren't human that got involved that day. And this is when Taj admitted, "That's why no matter what would have happened between us then, I could never be upset with that person for interferring. How could I? No matter what magic came into play without our permission, it's long gone now. And he saved you. Not me. I only took care of you until he came along and woke you up from the past. It was a miracle baby." Then he stopped knowing he just rocked Andy's mind with so much information at once and might need to process. He held his arms around him tighter, afraid to let go, afraid Andy's mind was welling up into a dramatic reaction, though he hoped he could remain halfway sound there in his arms. It was all he had to protect him with then.
