The night she posted about her being pregnant on the Boston website, she had horrid dreams. Every time she woke up that night, she was sweating and had a pounding headache that didn't seem to cease until she passed out again, only to be plunged right back into that nightmare world that she could never remember upon reawakening. There was one time she woke up because someone was screaming, only to realize that it was her making all of the noise. It was a complete wonder that no one in the hotel called guards or the police for all the screaming she had just done. The walls must have been thicker than they seemed. Once she woke up because of her alarm and not just another dream, she sat up slowly, still not used to the heaviness in her abdomen that seemed to have started over night. Her post had been stupid, she knew that. She had gone crazy - she should have calmed down before posting about it, maybe kept it to herself... but it was too late now, there was nothing she could do except strike it out and move it away from complete public eye.
Pushing the computer to the other side of the queen sized bed that had come with the room, she got out of bed and decided to go out and take Nathan up on his offer of seeing him at work. It was a split decision that came out of no where but once she made it, she couldn't get it out of her head. She had to explain herself and say her goodbyes - it wouldn't be that difficult, they only went out the one time even though they had promised to see each other again after that night. Well, she had, but that wasn't on her mind right then. She dressed simply, in a flowing top that had always looked gorgeous on her and a tight pair of black pants that went with it, topping it off with silver and white earrings and red lipstick. She didn't want to go too over the top, it was just a short outing, even though she was probably going to catch a glimpse of women that were more beautiful than she had ever seen. Of course, those women probably weren't as crazy as she was - a miracle baby? Come on. that didn't happen outside of the time before Christ and even then, she didn't quite believe that it had happened the way the bible said it did. But again, no matter.
She was out the door quite quickly, not even bothering to say goodbye to her cat who had been furious with her the past couple of days, no doubt sensing the unborn child in her belly. When she found out for herself, Rayven had felt like some loose women who slept around, even though she knew for a fact that she would never be as such. The only one night stand she had ever had, technically, was Nathaniel and even then she had felt overwhelmed simply by being near him. Every time she thought about how she had felt that night, it slipped from her thoughts like it was something she shouldn't be thinking of, of how it was hiding. She never could focus on it and now, as she caught a taxi to make it to the burlesque hall, was no exception.
