"I could always learn to skate." Romeo suggestion with a grin, pretty much up for it and up for trying and no doubt failing if that was what Jean wanted to do but as he climbed off of the others bike and started to follow him his grin faded into a frown the moment he heard Jean say he'd never taken anyone there before, for the life of him Romeo couldn't figure out why the angel had brought him there if no one else was allowed to see it. "Well you have my word that I'm not going to bust in here unannounced when you want to be alone, I don't even know how to find the place." He reassured the other in truth, lifting his shoulders a little in a shrug as he followed him through the warehouse, knowing the moment they entered the angel's 'BatCave' the second he walked through the doorway.
"Oh wow." He breathed out, his eyes wandering first up toward the ceiling taking in the sight of the bats hanging there before they shifted down to the poster plastered walls, the floor, everything, there was so much to look at and Romeo would have loved to just stand there and study it all for hours but the moment he saw the desks, the alters and the books, things he recognized, he grinned and walked over to them, his right hand coming up to roam lightly across the desk before his fingers found the massive, old spell book, stroking it almost lovingly, a look of awe, love and total fascination upon his face as he stared at it. He would have stayed like that too if Jean's question hadn't drawn him away, making him look over his shoulder at the other before he shrugged and let his gaze wander back to the books in front of him. "My mother died when I was ten, I was in and out of places like these and homeless shelters until I was almost sixteen, then it was...well...other places..." He trailed off after that and frowned, trying hard not to think about what exactly that other place was. "Long story short I was nineteen when a Coven member found me, that was almost a year and a half ago now I think... Now I work at the library and have a little apartment in town."
